I absolutely love the casting of Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor!! I’ve also sat down and wrote out my own spin on the DCU that builds off the snyderverse and builds to crisis on infinite earths. The my second phase is built around The Titans rather than justice league primarily following Wally West as the main Flash and Red Hood, ending with a team up with a now disbanded justice league team

I’ve spent a lot of time building out the flash stuff with a Wally West from another Earth leading to the main Barry Allen sacrificing himself in crisis and a Barry Allen variant as the Wally West main villain rather than Zoom or Reverse flash. I’ve also reworked a deep cut villain called the Puppeteer as a multiversal threat, to note a few different things about my take on the dc universe. I’d love to eventually compile it all coherently into either a Reddit post or video!
I need them to go the Suicide Squad, Birds of prey, The Batman route and make everyone jaw droppingly hot. It’ll give it an edge that the MCU dabbles in slightly because of their actors but go full tilt into it
Honestly I think what would be a very cool idea is rebooting DC Entirely live action & animated. And just do a entirely animated DC Universe with the comic animation from Spider-Man: Into & Across the Spiderverse mainly the movies, and the tv shows can have sort of similar animation as well.
You're in luck! That's what it sounds like James Gunn is doing with DC right now. Projects like Superman: Legacy and Batman: The Brave and the Bold will be live action while Creature Commandos will be animated (though i don't believe it will be like spiderverse's style but who knows)

Oh ya that would be cool! (You may have already heard of this but in case you haven't) It's not done by James Gunn and the movies run 70-90 minutes but there is an Animated DC universe called the DCAMU and it is fantastic! The finale called "Justice League Dark: Apokolips War" is phenomenal.
Maybe J'onn aka Martian Manhunter would be the Nick Furry of the Justice League flim to not only have all the oringal 7 in the Justice League flim but also in most iterations of the League Martian Manhunter is the person who brings the heroes together and maybe Mars is among the planets who got conquered in Sinestros conquest
That's a great idea! When i started this idea I thought of my phase 1 as a self contained idea by trying to keep as much from the real DCEU and so Martian Manhunter was just never a part of it. That is until I saw Birds of Prey. And out of anger I made more phases where he is introduced in phase 2.
Pretty damn solid plans, only thing I would do differently is let Harley escape with Joker. Otherwise, how would she gain the necessary skills that lead Waller to recruiting her
So for my DC movie verse I would start with Superman vs Toymaker, it's about a year into his run, end credits with Clark reading about the Batman Flash vs Turtle and him learning how to use his powers, end credits shows the murder of his mother to hype up Reverse Flash. Wonder Woman: World War 2, WW vs Nazis Batman: Batman vs Two-Face & Holiday Man Aquaman: Aquaman vs Ocean Master Green Lantern: Invisible Destroyer Martian Manhunter: Manhunter unites the heroes against Steppenwolf Justice League: Darkseid arrives.
my god i love this video can't wait for phase 2!!! are we going to see any plans for an under the red hood story line for phase 2 or possibly phase 3, could we possibly see a green arrow movie in the next few phases or possibly a Teen Titans fanchise?!
All I am gonna say is that phase 2 will come and you are batting over .500. All projects are written, video just needs to be made. Work and life just gets in the way of my free time ya know.

The reason I kept so much from Man of Steel is because I wanted this universe to be a "What I would do with a DC cinematic universe after MoS", while trying to incorporate elements from as many actual DC movies that I believed could fit. I agree MoS could have been a better Superman movie though I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
