Heh hour 20 n only seven tunes, true improvising musicians : -D
I want 2 hear the Reflections by Monk ,: 0
Gee that is neat, n he is playing chordal arrangement of Reflections, must steal ,: 0
Shit is reflections nice playing , :,(
I don't know do I like this or not? Is some good playing at times, but turn it up ffs and stop being like it's all done [:] 0
I've been awaiting this pairing for a loonnnggggggg time!
Man, Pasquale Grasso´s low volume is a crime!!
Drummer is great, but should've played 1/2 this volume under Pasquale's solos...deeper musicians have serious dynmamics flexibility. It's hard, but possible to keep the intensity at a low volume. I do it all the time and don't hear too many complaints about it.
He’s only got a teenie weenie amp though
He's always too low when there's a drummer
Thank you! There was a fantastic gig at Mezzrow with Lage Lund and Peter in duo... one of the best duo gig I ever heard.
I wish the volume was higher on Grasso. Both are great. Thank you for posting this. Grrrr ... those drums!
His name is actually Pasquale Grasso! They spelled it wrong
Pasquale GrAsso!!! Correct it!!!
Love hearing Peter sing his lines! Phenomenal. Pasquale Grasso is on another level like Segovia in my opinion. Just listen to His solo albums, Mindblowing. Thank You Ari and Andy for providing incredible soul filled rhythm in everything You played in this great performance.
Moments to capture
A Fairytale session with two of the major players in world jazz, a fabulous guitar duo Peter Bernstein - Pasquale Grasso. Wonderful !!!!
Thank you for posting
Get Pasqaule a super reverb lol. Seriously though I cant thank you enough for having these outstanding cats.
He is not using reverb at all on purpose
PB is the Fn man!! He's my spirit animal!! 🙌😁
Ah yes the pay time 1:39:47
Nothing like those $100 at the end of the night
It's always nice to go home w 100$ after the 4 gigs throughout the day!
To those saying Pasquale is soft I think he makes a conscious decision to play slightly under the drums; he is this soft in the band mix live. No problem hearing every note though!
oof, gonna need y'all to do an album together. big love
Guy reading a newspaper in the front row 😂
That’s a very assertive misspelling of Pasquale’s last name.
great
Mr Grasso is indeed soft, but drums many times to loud, if it is a multitrack recording, it can be easily repaired.,thank you anyway for the nice concert(s)
dude, it's GRASSO
swingin
Anybody know the name of the tune and musician in the background after the whole set? Starts at around 1:31:22
It's a song by Harold Mabern.
The new hep cat, we no longer wear shades or sunglasses we wear face masks 😎 😷
And an unused piano, the piano is bitter and jealous, and saying "but I'm here it's obvious?"
Guitar of Pasquale, turn it up louder dude! : -D
n the cats r smokin ,: 0 👍
Stand up ffs, STAND UP [:] 0
..the bandit look!
His name is GrAsso please :)
grasso is really grosso (important in spanish) :)
1:21:15 anyone knows the title of this tune ?
Three Little Words (Harry Ruby/Bert Kalmar)
that drummer who is he? Which name ?
Andy Watson.
Andy is a GREAT drummer...underrated cat.. was with jim hall for a while...yo andy
Any on know the tune after Daahud ? I like it ... I want dig it .
'Reflections' (Monk)
@@Bennyplays thank man
can't hear Pasquale such a shame
Jim Hall played VERY soft, sometimes MUCH softer than Pasquale is playing here--great accompanists adjust to the volume of the soloist, especially one who has a LOT to say.
Yup, Jim loved turning down the volume. Sometimes he’s just comp acoustically.
Peter seems listless and bereft of any interesting ideas as usual. Drummer’s left hand ride sounds great though!
What's the name of the third tune?
Daahoud, by Clifford Brown!
@@philippenicolas6431 thanks
@@alilotfi7974 First tune is Ray's Idea.
The tune after Daahud , please anyone know ? I want dig it ,
@@JokoSantoso-pl2rg I will go back and see. Pretty sure it was a Monk tune
