Thank you so much for your comments last night to Pippa. She had fallen asleep but when I showed her your response this morning her little face lit up!! I hope you realise how much it meant to her. We will continue to watch your videos avidly. Can’t wait for a play through with all of these new goodies! Love John and Pippa 👩❤️
My pleasure! I have a ten year old son. So, I totally get it. I'm glad they made her happy! I hope you enjoy it. It has been very fun! Looking forward to seeing you guys more.
One note: if you have more than one active trade, but try to complete only 1 of the trades (you only put the items into the box for 1 of the active trades) it will lock you out of the other trades as failed.
@@jitwirecan you solve the question: If I trade with Sutherland for his first special item and took several other trades for food and salt along that trade, can I complete the „commercial“ trades without that special request trade then being considered as failed? 😅
Coastal highway just shot up to best region in the game. First beach combing, then the forge in desolation point, now the trader. Really wish the radio wasn't in the gas station tho. Aurora wolves are brutal and the normal wolves already make the town one of my least preferred highway safe houses.
Was not going to be doing much with Misanthrope House (homestead) until this came along. Now it is shaping up to be as much of a base with provisions, firewood, and gear as Jack Rabbit House.
Since the resources he ask for are quite a lot and abundant compare to what I get I really have to choose wisely the time and the items to trade away for such goods he offers.
Thanks for the info. I do not think I will be using this add on in my play through but I still might do it just one time for the story part they mentioned in the preview trailer.
He didn't tell me I would see my gear waiting in the box. He just said OK I'm on my way. I passed time for an hour and it let me call him back but no options on the call. Hopefully, my gears out there when I go back 😮
@@jitwire 2.3k over 7 years and I honestly think that time would have been put to better use. It is my favourite game, but it's a little too good for giving me that 'just one more bear kill, just one more moose hide'.
As I understand it, these radios were supposed to be some kind of radio communication network across Great Bear operated by volunteers if regular communications broke down. They obviously didn't plan on dealing with what happened.
Thank you for sharing this info . . . couldn't find it anywhere else. By the way . . . do you know where the WOODWORKING TOOLS and CAMERA are? I sure don't but I'll keep looking. Merry Christmas!
You are very welcome! I am glad it helped. :) The only place I have seen it is in the Weather Station in Sundered Pass. I'll make a short video on it (I'm sure other people want to know as well). Merry Christmas!
hi Zack, i have just cafted the cougar claw knife, and for what i know it's a better weapon than the improvised hachette during stuggles with wolves. so i'm wandering if carrying this 1.75kg tool all around great bear (maybe HRV only) is still a good idea. i'm curious what's your favorite gears, and stuff in backpack in a very late interloper game. and second thing: i went to brocken railroad to craft my gougar knife and i'm pretty sure (i always leave everything i could ever need in 1 location per region) that all the stuff i left there on the floor has disapeard. have you ever enconter such issue since Part6? and i really want to thx you for you great videos, i have learnt a lot about this game thx to you. (apologies for my english)
I think the video might have went to the next one before you finished your comment. :) I have forwarded this to Zak for you. As for missing stuff since part 6- I would look for the red lost and found box in that region, they can normally be found by the doors to interiors or by region transitions.
Still not sure if I like this or not. But great explanation either way. Well done. Any leads on the Woodworking Tools? I have everything else new in the game but I've searched everywhere except HRV and SP and still not found those tools. 😢
@@Skedar. Tyvm, I've also talked to someone that found them in a second place in AC. I've searched all three spots with no luck as well as a general sweep of all but two zones. I can't even think of where to look for them in HRV or SP other than maybe the weather station in SP. I'm on my way there now.
@@jitwire SP was a miss. But then since I was close I went to triple check ZOC and found them there. I'd been told they were on a workbench which I checked twice already. Mine were not. They were on an out of the way table I had not checked for me.
I wish they would add a clothing slot for capes. That would make this game perfection but i guess capes arent as important to normies. Maybe a fanny pack that doubles as a cape. We have the technology.
@jitwire idk why it never succeeds. I need more people. Maybe a petition. Also another huge problem...I cant get the thermotwin song out of my damn head.
i wanted a trader in game. not a fan of this mechanic lol. that said most of what they add to this game is imo junk. waste of time. like story mode anything imo is agonizing. i xed out that so fast... open world let me be is only way imo. at least we can somewhat build our own base now. and i dont have to buy the dlc for that.
I just did my first trade last night. I really like it and Sutherland reminds me of Belethor only more fleshed out and not the voice of 80 other npcs.
Nice! I like him as well. Oh, gosh, you are right! I will never be able to unhear that now, lmao.
Best guide for the trader right now
Thank you.
Thank you! I will work on an expanded one. But trying to test the trigger took most of my time today. Lol
Do you have a husband @jitwire?

Ugh, that's annoying. Thanks for the heads up. I will include that in my next and more in-depth video about the trader.

Right? It has everything now- I won't spoil here but I will be putting out videos on this soon.
There really should have been a radio added to the lighthouse in Desolation Point.
Agreed. I thought it was really odd that there wasn't one there.
Amazing job, thank you for the time spent, it is appreciated
Thank you. :)
Wow, I love it. It seems suitably inconvenient!
lol, it really does, doesn't it?
Great information, thank you sooooo much
You're welcome!
Nice guide! Especially showing us where each radio is :) Thanks!
You're welcome! Hope it helps!
I hope they change the requirements for some unique items, car batteries are rare on interloper 😂
It does seem like they increased the battery spawn a little bit- but I agree. Who wants to lug 45 kgs across the map?
I searched every single car in Bleak Inlet. ALL were empty.
@@pipp972 Ugh, that's frustrating. I know I found a ton in Costal Highway. But, it is one of those things that seems like pure RNG.
Thank you! First time seeing your channel in my recommended list but I will definitely check out more of your videos and subscribe!
Thank you! 😊 I really appreciate it.
Excellent guide! Thank you for this! I was looking for other TLD content creators to sub, glad you popped up in my recommendations! Cheers!
Thank you! Glad to have you aboard. 🙏
Thank You so much for this. I couldn't find an explanation on how to get the first call from the trader anywhere. Quite helpful.
You're welcome. I believe it is 15 for Pilgrim. 20 for Voyager and 30 for Stalker/Interloper.
Was not going to be doing much with Misanthrope House (homestead) until this came along. Now it is shaping up to be as much of a base with provisions, firewood, and gear as Jack Rabbit House.

If you're into achievements there's one for max level of trust with the trader. If you're not than I agree completely.
@jabbott6748 I'm not into achievements hunting. But thanks for letting me jnow

@Theoverthinker81 Same here xD I'm sitting at almost 3k. But it's been great and don't regret a thing.

Great guide, thanks. Wonder why they put in the radios in area's with no costal fronts.

I really wish it was strictly morse code or something and strictly item drop offs. It would be more uncertain if you were truly talking to a person
That's a really good idea- and I think it fits with the game really well too. I was kind of hoping for strict drop offs.
Can you use the safe house customization tools to pick up the trader radio and bring it somewhere else?
sadly no i've already tried😔
No :( I wish you could- seems like an oversight.

The two places where people have found the tools are miners folly in ash canyon and in the upper side of the concentrator in the zone of contamination
