Wow, I don't think I have ever watched a rebuild quit like that before. Looked like they took it apart, cleaned it and put it back together. Used parts and all. Didn't even hone those heavily pitted cylinders, resurface the head, lap the valves, or use new rings or new connecting rod bearings. No need to know the torque on those rod bolts either, it will be fine. I'm astonished really. Also looked like the number 3 cylinder has a crack in the block. Just wow, perfect example of what not to do. If they would have added the machining and some new parts it would have been a great job. It was half way done and your left with the engine as it was before. Just cleaner!
I’ve rebuilt several N844 basically the 4 cylinder engine version of this . I always hone them or change the pressed fit dry cylinder liners . I’m much more thorough when I build them but they are higher horse power for skidsteers and tractors .
This video is perfect timing for me. I’m working on my 750 engine. Can you do a video on properly putting on the flywheel to the engine. I am a beginner trying to figure out the alignment with TC and markings on the flywheel. Thanks again for the great videos!! I am learning a lot!!
