If you look at previous interviews MJF did with Bobbie you sadly see the change in his personality post Parkinsons diagnosis. He said in his bio he took on a bunch of movies post 1991 as he knew his acting life would be shortened.

He's been very honest and very open about being (very naturally) depressed after his diagnosis but he's such a ball of light and I think it's the first time I ever really saw the deep, deep sadness in him, on camera at least. It's truly heartbreaking to watch but he's fucking gorgeous. Always have been.
