- Not the maiden, about five flights under my belt with this bird.
I ordered my Durafly Bf-109 from Hobbyking:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Dam how much runway you need for that little plane. If I was the only one there, I be standing along the runway
You're not wrong, this doesn't need the full runway at all, maybe 15% of it at most. Being a commercial pilot however, I think back to my CPL flight test. I told the testing officer I could take off safely from the taxiway I had just passed, but would prefer to use the whole runway and taxied right to the very end. He praised my decision and told me something that will stick with me for life: The three useless things when it comes to flight safety are the runway behind you, the sky above you, and the fuel you didn't bother to put in the tanks. Since then it doesn't feel right to do anything but.
Beautiful plane
Thanks Roni! I lost the motor about 10 flights in and replaced it with a higher KV option. The next takeoff resulted in a cartwheel! A new wing and fuselage later and it's up and running again. There's some footage of her doing a bomb drop from 0:29 in this video: ruclips.net/video/HuETS2yJiLg/видео.html
Cheers bro and thanks for checking out the channel!
Where Did you buy from? Or you made it yourself. How much money does it cost for you to build this? btw it looked like a volentex rc bf109 but bigger
Hiya, thanks for your comment. This is the Durafly BF.109 available off of Hobby King.
the bird is not for beginner for sure
Yep, a bit of a handful. Intermediate to advanced pilots I'd say! Quite quick, and can bite on the takeoff roll! I'm on to my second fuselage :D
Can you add an ess air engine sound system in that RC or only rc that has 1800 wingspan?
That's a good question Qwertyuiop. I'd be very careful about adding more weight to this plane, seeing as it's an advanced warbird that has a relatively high wing loading. The ESS Air Engine Sound System weighs in at 500g or so. That's significant weight in a warbird of this size. Having said that, you could sacrifice the weight of the bomb and release mechanism which would save you close to 100g. If you ran a smaller battery, say a 4s 2200, you could probably get about 3 mins flight time with the sound system.
@@JimmyDsRC soo u can add an ess air engine sound system in that plane but the flight time will reduced.. Ty for answering me ur the only one channel that answered me :) gotta subscribe now.. Tysm for the info!
What do you have your rates and expo at in the nx8?
Hi di chorba, thanks for the question. I don't tend to run expo on the warbirds unless they really need it. This one doesn't seem to, so expo is 0% across the board.
High rates 100% across the board.
Mid rates: Aileron 70%, Elevator 75%, Rudder 90%
Low rates: Aileron 50%, Elevator 60%, Rudder 85%
