Seeing Pearl Lowe on Homeworthy is a DREAM to wake up to. I have been so fervently enamored with her Home and the decor within it for a number of years now. I have coincidentally been perusing her book in recent days! I do remember many of the exceptionally elegant French beds featuring otherworldly upholstery that used to be in her Home's bedrooms. I understand the necessity for comfort; yet, sometimes, choosing between aesthetic style and comfort is an agonizing place to be. I personally, have gone toward the former as opposed to the latter on a multitude of occasions. Pearl's taste is the manifestation of my own decor preferences. I will be filling my own recently acquired Home, built in 1945, with ample fringe lamps, lace, French furnishings, and vivid colors, as well! Just yesterday, I secured the most Divine, Green, hand-painted Bedroom suite in excellent Antique condition from the 1920s! I cannot help but notice how much Pearl adores that era too. She is a woman after my own heart. 🖤
I always click on the British Homeworthys. So many ideas, such cool style, so eclectic. This is a perfect example.
For me the bouquet of decaying flowers on top of her fireplace doesn’t seem to register properly for me because those fallen bits wil drive me crazy. But ironically I love the uniqueness of them restlessly blooming in their wither. Her decor and small and big scale pieces are insanely showcased in a creative manner with a touch of romantic moodiness. Her home is her canvas and it feels like her own piece of art.
I don't think those flowers are decaying...they seem to be dried flowers put into an arrangement.
Even the outside of the home looked wonderful.

Pearl is such a beautiful, honest, talented lady and very interesting home and her creative business she has. Love the British homes with such character. This was quite the enchanting home, loved it. Loved her dress she was wearing also. More British homes please. My family were all born in London and so miss the character of the homes, so much more interesting then the grey plain homes.

I really liked her kitchen with the exception of that trendy farmhouse sink. IMO...those sinks are rather ugly and they have become annoyingly ubiquitous. I love seeing what people choose to put on their kitchen walls and countertops and especially in glass door cabinets. Sterile kitchens can look neat and streamlined but are awfully boring; her kitchen was anything but.
