Hey guys this is Lev. Just wanted to let you know, by now we know that 50% of top8 from the Germany event are KTOD subs. 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th all running lists or variations thereof from the deck threads or kash-op. Keep up the great work!
Hi! I am the guy who won the SCG 2K and 1k with Han Yellow. The list from RebelResources is correct. Played it both days with no changes. I think I would have won Friday too but had to work so I couldn't play that day. This is the best deck in the format by a good margin.
Yeah, I'm surprised people weren't playing it more. It was my day 1 deck but couldn't test it in Karabast because DJ Tech didn't work back then. I tested both with and without droids but found droids meh unless you got them together. Congrats!
@nicolascuenca254 thanks! Deck is cracked. I think you could cut R2 but C3 is nuts even without R2. Deck is mostly 3s so I've been successful naming that in the dark most of the time.
@@ianklein3101 Best deck in the format is a claim we should be careful to make. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you on Set1 Han, but the reality is the tournaments we won are still small scale (46, 63, and 24 players) with only 5-6 rounds of swiss. That's the equivalent of someone a couple months back saying they won 2 store showdowns in a weekend with whatever and claiming the deck was the best. We have the bigger GenCon events coming up -- looking forward to how those 100+ player events shake out.
@sunnyd2293 there is nothing inherently wrong with saying a deck is the best. I did a lot of testing with this deck. I was so confident that I would win both of the events this weekend that I texted multiple friends letting them know that I plan on winning them...and then make good on the promise. I didn't say it was unbeatable. I just think it has game into every single deck. Which no other deck in testing did.
Have you seen Han2 Blue though? It is 100% the best deck by a wide margin and is going to crush and top Gencon all 3 days. @iamwooooo just did a video on it!
Interesting top 8, I've tested a ton of GI Blue on karabast the last week or two and I have really good win rates against Han and Palpatine after about 120 public games so far on karabast. Deck is really well positioned into Sabine too. Worst matchup is definitely Boba and Kylo.
I just watched the Rebel Resource video about the Han Yellow list. The deck struggles against Palp so the New Adventures help in that match-up. It lets you get your stolen unit back.
My impression is boba yellow/sabine green are killer swiss decks but not locks in the cut because anyone who is playing something different likely had to navigate boba yellow/sabine green well to get there. Green palp is still the big mystery to me. Ive played with and against the deck and could never get over the sabine green/yellow matchup.
I've been running locals with Rey Red, but today I played a casual game against someone running Qi'ra. When I lose while playing my Rey it's usually close, but the Qi'ra matchup was just oppressive and it wasn't even close, I got crushed. I did draw poorly for the matchup (my hand destruction was weak in the games, which helps a lot vs control) but Qi'ra has really solid smuggle options to mitigate it anyway.
What are yalls thoughts on control right now? I was a big set one Vader blue player, and I still love it in set 2. But we have seen no top cuts from control so far. Thoughts?

Might be more who are just lurking and dont post. But those 4 are confirmed
Thanks as always Lev!
@@DaDaSWU what german events? really looking for bigger tournaments over here
Nice video! Happy to chat with you on my card choices for this specific event.
Nice job man! Are you still on Palp Yellow as well?
@@Ilovetoplayjazz Yes! I switched it up and played Yellow Palpatine on Saturday, but missed top cut due to tiebreakers. The deck is still very solid.
There's always going to be people who don't get it. You guys have been great fot me learning to play better
I was one of the top 8 Luke green players (6th). Definitely an amazing deck and definitely has room to grow
Do you have your list? :D Luke Green is one of my favs to play
I would also love to see your decklist congrats btw 🎉
Wanna see the list too 😀
I played mainly Luke in set 1 and would love to see the deck also
Please post the list, he is one of my favourites

nighty nighty bois - great analysis. TDLR for me? I am going to get destroyed on GenCon. Sheesh.
Yellow Sabine is flying under the radar, should make a big splash at Gen Con!
@@SWU_KTOD By flying under the radar you mean losing HORRIBLY to AL in Top Cut. That gameplay was a psy op OK 🤥

Confiscate is mainly against Boba armor which is impossible to deal with Han green.

It's bc we're waiting for YOUR Qi'ra list, Matty

He said he used New Adventure to reset damage against green palp too which is his worst matchup.
Rules question. Could you play? So that way you can play a normal event afterwards? Or do the cards in this game require a legal Target to be played?
I'm not really sure what you're asking but you can play events for no effect
@@SWU_KTOD yeah I was driving so I was using speak to text it missed the word confiscate but you did answer the question even without the card name

Imo Tech is the ace in the hole for Heroism decks against control. Once the control player drops SLB, you can flood the board from your resource row.
I think control is good! We like qira green
A New Adventure can reset captured/stolen units as well. Great for dodging Palp/Jabba decks.
Do we have deck lists for the Luke green decks
Haven't seen them yet
I’m so confused. Didn’t Han Yellow win both nights?
There were three noghts. Keep watching
