Hey guys, Awesome video! I’m the Bossk player who took Sheffield. For those hesitant to play Bossk because of Sabine, I want to reassure you-it’s not a bad matchup. With healing, removal, and Childsen + early Leader and double Bounty, you can handle it effectively. I faced multiple Sabine decks on my way to the finals and came out on top. It’s all about practice! 😀
Hey guys, happy that youre talking about my Rey Deck. If you have any questions just shoot me a question. I also have a video on my YT going over the list and my reasoning but you guys summed my braggart reasoning up really well!
Great video. I played Jason (chicago winner) in the top 8. I should have 2-0ed him but I resourced my other turn 1 play like a bozo and lost to Bazine - was off a few damage and would have closed it. Decision fatigue is very real, woke up at 3am day of and it caught up to me. Skill diff gg.
Barrage is a staple of villain, so I would prefer to see boba himself get hit or maybe firespray. I don't like bans either and I haven't advocated for it, but at some point we need a different competitive dynamic in the meta!
Yeah its an interesting situation. He’s really good but I think some of the things that could beat him are getting kept down due to double loss being so spooky -matty
@@SWU_KTOD i agree with the control impairment at the moment but at the same time in a vacuum boba will always be too powerful for the precedent as we all know. Hes the only leader in the game that breaks the stat/cost ratio while simultaneously having two seperate cards (no other leader does as we know) that super charge him. One being a 2 cost card that makes him near impossible to kill (an on curve devastator doesn't kill an armored boba. Thats crazy) and the other being a huge offensive tool that smashes for 5 in space as soon as it touches the board. (And for some reason can exhaust units??? Maybe they thought it wasn't good enough). My whole thing is what was the rationale behind these decisions and why did they only give this treatment to one singular leader? If he flipped on 6 like the other 4/7 leaders i think he'd still be the best and thats an issue. Bc he doesn't he flips on 5 😂 idk man, its just a Little crazy that this early we have this big of a problem whether he's beatable or not (which of course, he is) that isn't really the question.
@@SWU_KTOD So two things about this. If the options available are not viable to play in the competitive scene because of the lack of time. Then they are not viable counters. In addition to. What happens if the control starts beating Boba Green? Don't they just focus to Boba Yellow or Boba Red and start winning that way? Because that is the biggest problem with Boba. His agility, due to cost/stats/ability/unit/upgrade advantages?
I'm the blue boba at Barcelona winner, I only lose 1 game in all tournamnet and it was really close in semifinals. I'm happy too see that you dosen't understand my way of playing 😂. There is no nees of avengers to finish one game if I had the hand full of cards and my oponent is playing top deck.
Well, for me is nice, the deck is adapted to my playstile and works well, some judges told during the tournament that it has all in it was a monster. Its fun to see that some experts that sometimes I have seen videos before dosent understand some decisions, and that you dont see my way of thinking. That deck killed some boba green, some boba yellow, bosk blue and bosk green(with dragons, palpas, vader, maul, decastator, palpa return), tarkin yellow and boba red, and red cad Vayne.
thanks for posting that fun fact in the result page..., I was 6-0 and in 7 round tournament, so for me it has sense to concede one round and rest a little. And yes I'm really humble. My origina are really humble and you just read some lines...
About the Boba discussion. On the latest episode of ”The Nordic Takedown” SWU podcast we had a discussion about Boba. Well worth a listen. In short, my claim is that Boba isn’t overpowered, but he is good. And the reason we see him so much is because it has become like a self fulfilling prophecy. Good players see Boba winning so they start playing boba and win. Rinse and repeat.
@@SWU_KTOD but if he was actually overpowered he would get more tournament wins than he gets. He gets a lot but not not a crazy amount if you believe my arguments from above/the podcast

Loved that you used my Graph! Im the dude on Facebook :) haha. Fascinating stuff.
Thanks for the contribution! We need to work on softer colors =)
@@SWU_KTOD haha. Yeahh :).
I'll update it this weekend when we get more data and soften a few of them :P
I'll also add a side stat for Villain/Hero base pairings. That's an interesting one.

Probably right about barrage but I think it gate-keeps even harder than boba sometimes - mike
@@SWU_KTOD it's true I'm just a control boy and I'd be sad to give it up 😔
Great analysis. Wish I could have put another Sabine up there.
You did great man, proud to have you as a contributor in the KTOD discord but more importantly in our lives
us too!
"sideboards are for noobs" Spoken by a Boba player is kinda ironic :P
Can confirm that "sideboard is for noobs" was said by the winner, lol.
Some links to deck lists would be fire.
They're in the description if you click the spreadsheet
Every analysis ive seen so far has basically said this:
Boba 🤷🏻♂️
Sb: no shade on anybody i just think its crazy that a game less than a year old already has a tier 0 leader 😂
Yeah its an interesting situation. He’s really good but I think some of the things that could beat him are getting kept down due to double loss being so spooky -matty
That's not really our analysis. There's a lot of boba, we can't not talk about that, but there are ways to fight it.

When I was 6-0 I just concede one round and took a break to go eat and extra rest in the 60 min of round.
That's a bizarre thing to be happy about but congrats on being a master!

I agree, mostly. I do think he's definitively overpowered though because of his stats. -mike
