I still dont get why it wasnt extended to Kings Cross
Edit: how am I famous now
Somehow it’s was just about the effort that dovetail needed to put into, like there’s about 24 stations in between King’s Cross and Peterborough.

What worry is a slap in the face when dovetail has already punched you into next Christmas for selling you the same game you already paid for last year.

I did trip London to Inverness as a special traveler ticket where I can pick any carrier/train for 4 days and just travel, I did York to Newcastle on a Voyager and boy it was loud, so I decided to step out at NC and then take Virgin Class 91 with coaches, much better experience :)
I can wait for it, it looks amazing so far
Enjoying east coast main line, it's a route I grew up with. Cab sounds are very quiet tho, esp aws warning! Lots of potential for the future, ie extend to kings cross, Doncaster to leeds, Retford low level Lincoln to Sheffield, even bring in class 55 / 56 even old class 43hst!
Aws sounds are being upped and cab sounds being adjusted based on feedback from an azuma driver. The azuma isn't a loud train.
I used to travel the ECML from Leeds to London at least once a year (before lockdown) and really enjoyed going on the Azuma trains. Maybe I should pick this game up so I can look around familiar territory!
To be honest the Azuma are not as good as the MK4's (class 91). And the end of the HST was sad. They are fast but nowhere near as comfortable as either

What business model would you prefer? COD style season passes, microtransactions and no livery designer but endless liveries at a fee for each?
@@richardwillson101 In the TS days the annual refresh is just for the routes. If you don't pay for the latest you still get upgraded to the new game just without the 3 new routes. With TSW they force you to buy £30 game every year if not then you can wave goodbye to all updates and fixes. Also I have to download all my 100GB route collection again as well as using Dovetail Live to carry over my progress.
Should have been extended to kings Cross
Dovetail needs to poach some devs from other studios like Rockstar. The pedestrian AI needs a complete overhaul which has barely changed since TSW2.

It's a good route, just one thing I've noticed yup bugs one I've noticed aws seems abit quiet can hear it and acknowledge it just seems abit quiet when it goes off.

Hi, I’m looking for some help please. I have bought TSW4 deluxe and have transferred my profile from TSW3 to TSW4 which has kept all my data but I’m struggling to get my routes from TSW3 to TSW4. Any help transferring the routes across would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
You’re on early access for the new TSW4 routes. When the full release happens (Tuesday) you’ll be able to download the other routes 😊

We're into the 5th or 6th iteration of TSW and they haven't yet figured out how to allow users to map to HOTAS.

Question does the train have diesel and electric or only electric?
It is mainly electric. The 800 would have diesel engines throughout for a dual power train, but the 801 has 1 diesel engine in 1 car so it’s used for emergencies only and won’t travel fast. The 801 was the only train LNER/Hitachi had available for the visit DTG made
@MegaSim that's the irony within this toxic community, I have seen a LOT of people complaining that it should have been an 800 with Hybrid...
But you KNOW that if they did this without the reference material, people would scream blue murder that its not "true to life" as a rivet is out of place 😂

The number is probably a placeholder for promo material. It's not uncommon in gaming.

125 mph looks faster in real life. Also windscreen wiper always rests on the right hand side
And you were speeding over Newark flat crossing. The limit there is 100 mph.
speeds will look different in game vs real life. Camera position, where you are and zoom level all can have an effect on what 125mph looks like.

you can literally change the position of the wiper with a switch... stop trying to be smart

No sorry. Just a route fro Doncaster to Peterborough. I am hoping they do a northern east coast mainline route from York to Berwick or Newcastle to Edinburgh.

801 234 isnt a real train, every video I've seen on TSW4 they're all numbered the same, a train no. that doesnt exist, smashing content from DTG

@Megasim I see TSW4 STILL has the thing which means I will not buy any more core product/DLC. Stuttering. Drives me crazy. It’s been like that for years.
I didn’t see on this stream, but wouldn’t be surprised if there are no stop markers on platforms and/or train doors can be opened whilst moving i.e things they (sometimes) fix on routes after they have been released but seem to not even check on the next route. Having bugs is ok. But repeating bugs over and over… very poor. Hopefully I’m wrong in this instance
