After watching Severance on Apple TV+ I thought I would try recreating the iconic intro in LEGO. All done in Blender. Credit to the original by extraweg: • Severance - Official I...

including some bts would do a lot. like just random stuff from the overall process that looks interesting at the end of the video. would give some time for people to go into the comments while that happens.
brilliant interpretation of a brilliant intro! I think, Lego gives it a very nice flavor, because Lego details are originally alike and standartized, and seeing them being built unnaturally and not sticking together unnerves!
This is simply perfection! I’m not a fan of any Lego movies, but this hilarious intro makes me want to see the second season animated by you only! Well done!😊
I don’t currently have all my LEGO with me and some shots from this sequence would have been nearly impossible to pull off in stop motion. I still try to make the 3d look a bit like stop motion to keep things consistent
Great, though there are a few little improvements that would make this even better. Well I say a few little things, but realy its one over-arching word and that's imperfections. Main one i'd polish up first is the animation of it. I see you did try and go for the stop motion feel. But a few tweaks in the walk cycle, for example, just to make it a little more irratic. EG: at 0:26, the lego animation is very smooth and slow and methodical and keyframed, while in the real intro, the guy is much more 'animated' Another thing which would really elevate the animation is maybe add one or two, or three different face textures for mark, and again make the character facial movements more 'animated' Also, with the 12 fps, I understand it may seem like it makes a video have a stop motion feel, when your animating something, you need to give it special consideration with each frame, as if you were to stop animate it. What youve done is okay, just feels choppy in large camera movements, which real stop motion wouldnt feel like. So either next time, aproach each frame a photo, or just render at a standard 24 or 30fps. (Which is what i see you've done in future projects and they look beautiful). I'm typing all this in the hopes you'll see it and make a season 2 follow up. Or not, great work either way though.
Me watching anything severance related waiting for season 2 🙌
Any info on season 2? Absolutely obsessed with this show and Succession

HOW does this not have millions of views? This is so well done!
It's worthless shit, stealing other people's good work for no real reason?

Why is this not 14m views?

Neat. Sorry to be that guy, but it’s missing the important awkward walking between 0:14 and 0:30.
Only 2k views for this is a shame
amazing work. What made you to change from stop motion to animating?

Impressive! How long did it take? What software did you use?
Edit: just saw you used blender. Nice.
About a month, but I worked in my free time so hard to tell exactly how many hours.
❤❤🤩🤩
foda!
Why does it skip part of the intro at 1:04?
Noice!
Awesome job!
Great work!
