It won an Emmy for Outstanding Main Title Design in 2022!

8 episodes in and I’ve still never once skipped this intro. I don’t think I ever will. It’s absolutely mesmerizing. Apart from being great in its own right it’s also such a perfect fit for the tone of this show.

This is really incredible, the way Adam's face always feels just slightly out of visual reach with every scene change feels so perfectly dreamlike. I couldn't even imagine planning a way to capture such an inexplicable feeling, what a talent.

This animation is just right amount of liminality, backrooms and surrealism. One of the best intro animations I have seen in years, perfectly compliments the music as well. Good work.

It feels so smooth yet janky at the same time. The art direction for this animation captured the tone of the show perfectly.

For about one year of my life, i worked about 10-11 hours per day, and commuted for a total of 3 hours per day. When i got home, i usually had enough time for about 1 episode of a show and to make myself a very fast, unsatisfying dinner. So, this show was deeply cathartic to watch.
This is one of the craziest and coolest intros that I’ve seen. The uncomfortable and surreal aspects of it blend perfectly with the creepy piano music in the background. Goes great with the kind of show this is

I actually fell out my chair and tumbled out my window and hit my car, fell through the sunroof car keys fell out my pocket and hit the key ignition and car rolled backward off the drive then I made a sandwich.
This is *by FAR* and *_BAR NONE,_* the BEST intro to ANY television show I've ever seen. It adds more to the show than anything and the show wouldn't be complete without it- what an incredible job, I am astounded every single time I watch it (and I never not-watch it). Huge respect, I can't say more kind things about it.
Edit: *CONGRATS* on winning the Emmy for "Outstanding Main Title Design" _(and the special liquor you got for it-- did you ever end up trying it, by the way?)_ 😅

My favorite is Dark's opening. You reaally need to put your really best to the intro of s2, if you want to surpass that. That intro alone is better and has more thoughts than most series today...

One of very very few shows we never hit the "Skip Intro" button for. The show itself is so good that it really doesn't need a title sequence - but what you've made here is so perfectly done that it elevates the whole production. And it works so beautifully with Theodor's wonderful music. Well done, man, well done

@@extraweg Bro, not at all, you deserve all this praise and then some. I don't skip this intro. I have ADHD and am extremely impatient, i don't normally mess around with an intro.
But yours is different. It sets the tone. It pulls me in, gets the mind ticking over, it's delightfully devilish and subtle in its effect.
I love it.
Please continue to put yourself and your work out there. The more off the beaten track properties like Severance that dare to be different will suit your content really well, it seems like the music for the intro really gelled with what you were envisioning.

The symbolism of the footprints in the snow, the innie carving his own way forward and the outie being lead down a path unwittingly, such a great visual. Great intro, it really encapsulates the mystery and themes of the show.

I love how the black paint in the intro is re-enforced as part of the show's mystery. But in Episode 8 it is revealed that it's a red herring. The black paint is just something Irv sees because he paints the hallway at home.

This show was something else, did not skip this opening once. The song, the visuals, perfect. This has gotta be the best opening of any non anime I've ever seen. Most western TV openings are pretty crap, this however is fantastic.

This is so good I can't even comprehend such talent. The ichiness I felt while watching it for the first time is the same I got from the first episode. The muppet-like Mark fits so well with the weird creepy vibe and portrays the manipulation he's experiencing. The music? So so good. Everything about this is perfect. Instantly one of my favourite intros of all times. Well done!

Genuinely blown away by seeing what amounts to a CGI meme (floppy humans) incorporated in a real show. Really enjoyed Severance, best thriller drama since Counterpart
The intro is so mysterious and haunting , I had to get apple tv to see what kind of show it was and frankly I was very impressed.
The show is one of the best shows I've seen in 2022 ..with great acting from legendary actors.

Oh my god I love this intro so much. I just finished watching Season 1 and I can't take my eyes off this during each episode. It's fascinating and it's like a dream, summing up the essence of the show while never giving away any details. I love what you've done here.

We were just talking about how TV shows don't seem to have openings anymore and this one is absolutely brilliant
The animation really gives me the Sims 2 vibes which I think says a lot about this tiny controlled world the innies experience.
Fittingly trippy intro aside, this music is phenomenally eerie and I love it.
Severance is the best show of the year so far.

I’m convinced some of the video producers at Apple helped with the editing and storyboarding of this intro.

I never skip the intro, the music is so good. It perfectly matches the tone of the series, so eery and full of mysteries.
This is probably one of the only intros of a show I never skip - I sit so comfortably and intently, every time I watch it I see something new. Thank you for creating something so unique, another puzzle piece to an amazing show!

The Mark wearing the red pajamas represents the chip in the head , the innie who is trapped inside the outie. Trying to merge and figure out this mystery... man love the intro, the animation and music are top notch.

This is the first time an opening credit has been so memorable for me. It gives off the perfect sense of uneasiness but also curiosity to keep you hooked throughout the entire show. I just finished watching it a few days ago and it's still on my mind. Probably one of the best shows I've ever seen, and this opening sequence has been the perfect accessory!
