JUDAS PRIEST - BEYOND THE REALMS OF DEATH. Their BEST track. It's a Monster Ballad, with amazing vocals and the sickest guitar solo ever. Must check it out.
Especially because Vin loves 'Fade to Black' so much, 'Beyond the Realms of Death' will be right up his alleyway. That Glenn Tipton solo as well; one of the greatest of all time.
In the end of that video, they added a part that they listened to Painkiller again (I think Vin wasn't aware Sori was recording) and they talked positively about Halford's vocals in Painkiller, they were also surprised about the change in their perception of the vocals. So, they now feel much better about Painkiller & Halford's vocals.
So are you guys Priest fans or Rob fans, lol.Robs voice in its prime is from the 70's to 1984 you can't go wrong in that era.Plus there new album Firepower is really GOOD,check it out. Good job ya'll til next time 🙂✌🤘
you should do «Better By You, Better Than Me» by judas priest. In 1990, the band was involved in a civil action that alleged they were responsible for the self-inflicted gunshot wounds in 1985 of 20-year-old James Vance and 18-year-old Raymond Belknap in Sparks, Nevada, USA. On 23 December 1985, Vance and Belknap, after hours of drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and allegedly listening to Judas Priest, went to a playground at a church in Sparks with a 12-gauge shotgun to end their lives. Belknap was the first to place the shotgun under his chin. He died instantly after pulling the trigger. Vance then shot himself but survived, suffering severe facial injuries. Following numerous complications, Vance too died in 1988, three years after the suicide pact. The men's parents and their legal team alleged that a subliminal message of "do it" had been included in the Judas Priest song "Better by You, Better than Me" (a cover of the Spooky Tooth number) from Stained Class (1978). They alleged the command in the song triggered the suicide attempt. The trial lasted from 16 July to 24 August 1990, when the suit was dismissed after the judge ruled that the so-called "do it" message was a result of an accidental mixup of background lyrics. One of the defence witnesses, Dr. Timothy E. Moore, wrote an article for Skeptical Inquirer chronicling the trial. The trial was covered in the 1991 documentary Dream Deceivers: The Story Behind James Vance Vs. Judas Priest.

Blind Guardian live is just awesome, period :) I've had the pleasure of seeing them live 4 times, and they've been one of the best-sounding live bands I've yet seen, over 200+ concerts. My top 3 best-sounding bands would probably be: Marillion, Porcupine Tree, and Blind Guardian.
10 Metallica reactions, 4 for Judas Priest, but only 2 for Iron Maiden? More Maiden needed! Please give Rime of the Ancient Mariner a reaction. It's a bit long, but its a masterpiece; probably the best song they ever wrote.
They need to check out Iron Maiden's later songs. Songs like Dance of Death, The Thin Line Between Love And Hate, Nomad, For The Greater Good of God, Empire of the Clouds, When The Wild Wind Blows, The Talisman, etc.
Parker Buessow Are you nuts fella? There is no comparison to be had between the older crap, + the original masterful Maiden epics... So my vote would firmly lie with Rime of the Ancient Mariner, or Revelations... Children of the Damned...Prodigal Son..

IRON MAIDEN Infinite Dreams. That song have everything. Great composition with wonderful arrangements and transitions with one of the more legendary tempo changes in heavy metal history, and great lyrics that can lead to a very interesting conversation
Saw Halford in Cleveland back in the early 00's. His death metal growl was rather impressive live. After he did it he said "See? I can do that shit too." What a great moment!
Instead of being butthurt, you could've asked:"what do you mean by that?"I 'll gladly explain.Black Sabbath plays in the G minor pentatonic scale. The "Blues box".The same scale used by BB King and Howling Wolf. They didn't use metal scales. They were dark. They were gloomy. But by modality they are not metal from a musician standpoint, they never were.If you ask questions you can be enlightened. If you just tell people to shut up,you'll stay ignorant your whole damned life

Half the warriors go to Valhalla with Odin and half to Folkvangr with Freyja and yes, both men and women, anyone that's a warrior. But its not 'rest' its an endless battle where you fight and die and party all the time basically... doing what warriors love doing I guess. Everyone else goes to Helheim. I'm not sure but I think only Einherjer fight at Ragnarok. They are like Odin's special chosen warriors.
The warriors of Valhalla are brought by the Valkyries (Daughters of Odin) who comb the battlefields for the brave slain, they eat a magical meal that allows them to fight all day to train for Ragnarok as shock troops, cut each other to pieces, then put themselves back together at the evening meal, wash, rinse, repeat until the Twilight of the Gods. Men and women both fought in the Anglo-Saxon and Viking armies, and their beliefs reflected their warlike tendencies, as well as the need for occasional human sacrifice (which Odin's story reflects as the Gallows God). One of the most famous Anglo-Saxon female warriors is Boudicaea, and it would do you well to check out her life's story. Check out Hypatia of Alexandria, while you're at it. The term valour comes from the French by way of Latin for "value, worth"; Valr as part of Valhalla simply means "dead soldiers" or "the slain". During the first 300 years of Christianity's existence, there was no constant nationwide persecution until the reign of Decius, and that only lasted a year and a half, and many apostatised themselves to avoid it. The Roman empire was fairly flexible as far as religion was concerned, at least early on; as long as you paid your taxes, they really didn't care. Nero and Decius were paranoid assholes, and the latter decided to go on a rampage, but died in battle a year and a half later, and so ended the persecutions, at least as a constant issue. It happened from time to time, and generally locally rather than nationally. The church father Eusebius wrote much of the early church history, and so embellished as he was wont to do. The fact is Eusebius, before the Niceaan council was a Gnostic, and was thus not part of the church to be formed. When Constantine declared what parts of the Church would remain so (and therefore legally recognized), Eusebius decided to go with the emperor, converted from Gnosticism, and became a church father. Also, the early Christians actually believed in martyrdom leading to going to heaven (not so different than dying in battle); Tertullian, another church father, describes how, around 185, the Christians of a town in Asia went to Proconsul Arrius Antoninus and demanded to be martyred. He told them that if they wanted to die so badly, they could go hang themselves or jump from the cliffs (for they committed no crime to warrant death).

I saw Priest with Ozzy three days ago in Lisbon, Portugal, and Halford absolutely destroyed that place. His voice is still completely on point. Most HEAVY METAL night for me in my 30 years of life.
From all the people who die in battle only the most valiant and brave are taken by the Valkyries to Odin's hall... but any brave warrior can be chosen... including women
You're only experiencing a small part of the variety of Priest. Here are some to try in order of their albums starting with Hell Bent For Leather: 1 - Evening Star 2 - Rapid Fire 3 - Turning Circles 4 - The Hellion/Electric Eye 5 - Love Bites 6 - Turbo Lover
I don't think putting out more material is a particularly bad thing, but imagine if Redeemer of Souls was one disc and the length of a classic Priest album. Dragonaut, Redeemer of Souls, Halls of Valhalla, Sword of Damocles are all GREAT tracks and would make an absolutely killer A side. Definitely a bit underrated in my view.
@@nygiantsfan6 agreed. Even the next couple tracks are decent with walk of the damned and the two after that. However I felt after those tracks the following songs were all over the place and not very good especially compared to the first 5 or 6.
Unleash the Archers - Awakening. Every reaction channel that checks this video had a blast and loved them, vocals, guitar work, bass work and battery, all on point and flawless. You won't be dissapointed
Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust, Drama for Life and Choice Millionaire Machine Head - A Farewell to Arms, Descend the Shades of Night and Imperium Linkin Park - Given Up Trivium - Thrown Into the Fire
Great track! Halford's power knows no bounds! On a separate note: Take this recommendation, guys. If you already respect Dio, check out his project with Richie Blackmore if Deep Purple: Track: Rainbow- A Light in the Black
Priests is always interesting :) great reaction as usual. Would recommend something entirely different.. Pain of Salvation - On a tuesday , its the first track from a concept album and I think it hold itselfs on its own.. But could be interesting to see you two react to prog that isn't too.. technical ? Even if it is more technical than it seem.. Hope you guys keep going for a long time
Im pretty sure you go to valhalla as long as youre a warrior, and women were warriors too and came along on raids, so yes i agree. Coming from another norse boi lmao
Men and women can go to Valhall, or Folkvang. It's basically done half and half of the slain.. Valkyries decide where you go, IF you go at all. Most go to other places in Asgard..
You do a lot of Judas priest songs and I think that is so awesome, check out an album by their lead singer called Halford - Resurrection that whole album is great
I hope you get to hear this track live, it's a HUGE fav of mine; luckily, being a rock singer myself, I am able to pull off that scream - then again, I'm much younger, so to hear Halford do this at his age makes the thing even more fantastic. But if you don't catch this song live, there's the live version on their Battlecry album, and.. .well, see for yourself :)
So for that long ascending note, I wanted to see it live as well. I got my chance in 2014 when they toured for this album and it was a great show. For that note though...I don't know if it was bad sound equipment or if it was his condition on that night but about halfway through, the vocals just went silent but he was still postured as if he was doing the note. I couldn't tell back in the nosebleed section if he was still singing or not though. When this album first came out, I was not expecting to hear him hit any notes like that. When I heard this song and that note, I just kinda had to thank Halford. He's getting up there in age and these high notes are only going to get harder so I wasn't expecting any but this one felt like it was tossed in as a gift to us. I said to myself, "Thanks Rob, you didn't have to do this but thank you."
Maybe no one is recommending them BECAUSE they're the big, hit, songs... but it seems odd to me that you haven't done Breaking the Law, Living After Midnight or You're Got Another Thing Coming.
The people who died on the battlefield were called einherijars. They feasted and fought among themselves in the halls of Valhalla. When Ragnarok's hour comes, they will come out of 540 doors (800 people each) under the command of Odin.
It’s quite possible that Maine is the Vinland of the legends...not NFLD! Butternuts found in Nfld...do not grow there...they grow in Maine/NB, as do grapes!
I saw the Priest live at Graspop two weeks ago and it was awesome. No matter if you like the voice or not, you can't deny the power and aggression in it. And of cause, painkiller live was the shit! Valhalla in comparison is more comfortable to listen to, I also suggest Nightcrawler to you guys. And... of cause I won't stop annoying you with Heilung- LIFA, although it might be difficult to look at the lyrics ;-)
Still haven't done a Judas Priest song from their primetime.... Bloodstone, You Got Another Thing Coming, or anything from Unleashed In The East, like Exciter....or Sinner....
Infected rain- enslaved by a dream/ orphan soul. Would love to see your reactions to either of these songs... awesome reaction channel by the way. I find myself looking into bands I never heard of from watching your videos...
Valhalla menas hall of fallen warriors, and is the home of Odin and only warriors men could entré and not all warriors was allowed to enter, about half was to enter valhalla rest of then went to Folkvang and Who got where decided was up the valkyrias, cowards, women, kids, sicklings ende up in Hel. People that drownd ende up in with Ran the godess of the sea. Hope it help PS IF you are intrested hit my up and a can tell more.
MISTER DABALINA well its cos most ppl dont know about it, and with thor movie and Viking series, will keep Valhalla as the place all know about and The rest is of us Who are in to the ASA faith know and share it ask about it
Cool reaction. Although far too many of these reaction channels react to the same bands. Try reacting to other great bands that haven't been done. Kreator - Anything off of Extreme Aggressions Destruction - Anything off of Release from Agony Forbidden - Anything off of Twisted into Form Helloween - Anything off of Keeper of the Seven Keys Overkill - Anything off of Years of Decay W.A.S.P. Death Angel Coroner Exodus Dark Angel Heathen Sacred Reich Wargasm Fates Warning M.O.D. S.O.D. King Diamond Devastation Metal Church Flotsam and Jetsam Alice Cooper Dokken Ratt etc. So many other killer bands to choose from.
True, it seems like all the reaction channels get stuck on the same bands. I do like Vin and Sori's breakdowns as well. Would be cool to see them doing other bands that haven't had reactions done. There are other great bands out there.
Judas Priest best songs to check out. "Beyond The Realms Of Death", "The Sentinel", "Stained Class", "Genocide ( From "Unleashed In The East")", "The Sinner", "Freewheel Burning", "Delivering The Goods", "Screaming For Vengeance", "Exciter", "Hellrider"", "All Guns Blazing" "Nightcrawler" "The Hellion/Electric Eye" "Tyrant (Also from "Unleashed In The East")". Just to name a few.
Judas priest - A Touch of Evil
Edgardo Maulen that song is evil and sexy as fuck
It's kinda Def Leppardy
Rob Halford's longevity is insane. Many people would have blown their voice out long ago, like Phil Anselmo did.

I would say the same about Dickinson

Judas Priest - Hellrider. one of the most epic and great guitar performed songs of their entire career.Hope ppl will support me on this
I love Hellrider, especially the part where he says Hellrider, Hellrider, you fought the battle for them.
The ultimate , criminally underated masterpiece of Judas priest...
HERE THEY COME
Yeah kind if similar songs in the way they start kind of slow and quickly build up to a fast paced headbanger.
Was really hoping "Beyond the Realms of Death" would be the next Priest song but I'm still enjoying this regardless.
Beyond the Realms of Death is an amazing song
Especially because Vin loves 'Fade to Black' so much, 'Beyond the Realms of Death' will be right up his alleyway. That Glenn Tipton solo as well; one of the greatest of all time.
I recommend Beyond the Realms of death from their 70’s work. You all will enjoy the lyrics and it has the best JP emotional guitar solo.
8:15 - The vocalist is already in his 60's and he can still scream like that.
checkout "the Ripper" by Judas Priest
Saw them do this live and it was as awesome as you would hope halford still hitting those notes is amazing
Please please react to *Dreamer Deceiver* to experience Halford's range (low & high) at his top! Plus, one of the greatest guitar solos ever!
Nope, they began to like it later. Watch their reaction to Judas Priest - Angel till the end.
Oh yeah.

You need to show Dio some love too. He is (was) also one of the metal gods! I recommend "Don't talk to strangers".
Mic Zen his best one I agree
Well technically in order to classify as a metal god you have to have vocals like Rob Halford, Ripper Owens, and Micheal Sweet.

Blind Guardian - Valhalla or Bard's song or Mirror Mirror please
Dissident Agressor is perhaps Rob's greatest vocal performance on an album.
This is such a great album.
One of my fave Priest songs. Amazing review and thought provoking. I definitely agree with the statements at the end.
METAL MELTDOWN. It's got that painkiller vibe and since you've done more recent things.. I love the drums in that so much.
Blind Guardian - Imagination Of The Other Side
Ah!! Amazing song and amazing video/reaction. Love you two and you can never go wrong with Priest.
BLIND GUARDIAN soon please :)
You're only experiencing a small part of the variety of Priest. Here are some to try in order of their albums starting with Hell Bent For Leather:
1 - Evening Star
2 - Rapid Fire
3 - Turning Circles
4 - The Hellion/Electric Eye
5 - Love Bites
6 - Turbo Lover
Unleash The Archers - The Awakening. You absolutely must check them out. PLEEEEASE! I just listened to them for the first time and OMG!!!
This album was so terribly mixed, it's a shame cuz the songs weren't bad
Ismael Marquez General of the Dark Army.
Nolan Void The Awakening is a better song to introduce them though.
Ismael Marquez I agree
Norman Tompkins apparently they did Awakening for patreon only. Also I’m told they hated it. Which seems ridiculous.
Raijin-ryu X24 really
Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust, Drama for Life and Choice Millionaire
Machine Head - A Farewell to Arms, Descend the Shades of Night and Imperium
Linkin Park - Given Up
Trivium - Thrown Into the Fire
keeping the norse theme make sure you listen to runes to my memory by amon amarth i promise its a banger!
Sall Banjoman yes more anything from Amon Amarth
alexfrank6534 offcourse butt that one is my favorite song from them
Would love to see them react to Fate of Norns, lyrically such a beautiful song.
History Channel hired me to do some Illustration work for the Vikings show. Shield Maidens who died in battle would definitely go to Valhalla.
Legit !
Great track! Halford's power knows no bounds!
On a separate note:
Take this recommendation, guys. If you already respect Dio, check out his project with Richie Blackmore if Deep Purple:
Track:
Rainbow- A Light in the Black
Judas Priest- United We Stand is a great 4th of July song and 9-11
Priests is always interesting :) great reaction as usual. Would recommend something entirely different.. Pain of Salvation - On a tuesday , its the first track from a concept album and I think it hold itselfs on its own.. But could be interesting to see you two react to prog that isn't too.. technical ? Even if it is more technical than it seem.. Hope you guys keep going for a long time
:) ohh if you want to see it live he pulls it of perfect on live at battle cry.
btw women goes to vallhalla i am pretty sure, comes from a norse boi
Im pretty sure you go to valhalla as long as youre a warrior, and women were warriors too and came along on raids, so yes i agree. Coming from another norse boi lmao
Men and women can go to Valhall, or Folkvang. It's basically done half and half of the slain.. Valkyries decide where you go, IF you go at all. Most go to other places in Asgard..
They sure went to Valhalla. They were the Shield Maidens. Helping Odin at Ragnarok.
Coming from yet another northen boi, although a Danish one.
but alle we northern bois and gurls goes to valhalla tho
'You've Got Another Thing Comin' !!!!!!!!! Anything from 'Screaming for Vengeance'
Beyond the realms of death. Judas Priest! DO IT!
or Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver .
If you wanna hear Rob go Painkiller for a whole song, check out the song “Resurrection” by his Halford project. That should do the trick.
I Love Sori's Reactions
I said to myself, "Thanks Rob, you didn't have to do this but thank you."
judas priest - run of the mill
One of my favorite Rob Halford performances on that song. The end never fails to give me goosebumps.
but that is for personal listen, not included with youtube viewers. and yes, it is massively god...very underated.
nothing but a masterpiece
Halford’s voice covers four octaves. He can sing anything, high and low.
The specter of Death eventually smiles on us all. A Viking Smiles BACK!🗡
Beyond the Realms of Death. You will like it!
guuuys!!! well done, you really pres the good buttons :) thumbs up....judas priest, the best band ever :)
Judas Priest - Beyond The Realm of Death
That starting music is so fascinating
Helloween Keeper of the seven keys!
Maybe start with Eagle Fly Free.
It’s quite possible that Maine is the Vinland of the legends...not NFLD!
Butternuts found in Nfld...do not grow there...they grow in Maine/NB, as do grapes!
I'm so glad you actually liked a Priest song
you guys should react to some SEPULTURA
yes Desperate Cry from Arise album
There is another metal song called Valhalla. It is from Black Sabbath, in their album TYR. You might review that album also. Cheers.
Infected rain- enslaved by a dream/ orphan soul. Would love to see your reactions to either of these songs... awesome reaction channel by the way. I find myself looking into bands I never heard of from watching your videos...
You are calling me home!!! 🙌🤘🙌
MISTER DABALINA well its cos most ppl dont know about it, and with thor movie and Viking series, will keep Valhalla as the place all know about and The rest is of us Who are in to the ASA faith know and share it ask about it
Gojira - Of Blood And Salt (feat. Devin Townsend & Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah))
Cool reaction. Although far too many of these reaction channels react to the same bands. Try reacting to other great bands that haven't been done.
Kreator - Anything off of Extreme Aggressions
Destruction - Anything off of Release from Agony
Forbidden - Anything off of Twisted into Form
Helloween - Anything off of Keeper of the Seven Keys
Overkill - Anything off of Years of Decay
W.A.S.P.
Death Angel
Coroner
Exodus
Dark Angel
Heathen
Sacred Reich
Wargasm
Fates Warning
M.O.D.
S.O.D.
King Diamond
Devastation
Metal Church
Flotsam and Jetsam
Alice Cooper
Dokken
Ratt
etc. So many other killer bands to choose from.
Yea, so many other killer bands that haven't had reaction videos done. Forbidden Twisted into Form is a masterpiece!
Just to name a few.
pure and simply Mr Halford is the METAL GOD...new album firepower...metal perfection
