Hello Lovely! In America, we’re having a rough time. I come here to calm down and clear my head. I love coming along with you on your magical journeys. I make so many discoveries as you share this new for of journaling and bookbinding. So very refreshing! Both of your channels are healing to me. Funny how a sweet Aussi’s love for beautiful and perfectly curated art and art mediums, can find me here in the states, making my world a better place in my heart and mind. I love your channel! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I really appreciated this! these videos are sometimes quite hard to do, especially with things this year! we have definitely not been immune, it’s been a hard year all round, very distressing & fraught with a lot of overwhelming problems! even doing this collection & video, I have to say, nearly broke me & sometimes I wonder if it’s worth all the heartache for such a small contribution in a world so overcome with hardship.. . but it is these moments of hope I feel compelled to chase & to share, so Thankyou for your kind words, they help me to keep going too! 🌸✨🌷💌🕊
I know this is from awhile ago but I’m just obsessed with this collection and kicking myself fo r missing these in your shop! I’ve never seen anything so lovely! I’m obsessed with the sea and these are all my favorite colors. I often fantasize about doing an entire home in these soft muted sea colors. I have incorporated some of them in my home but my fantasy room or home would be much more soft feminine and luxe. I don’t know if I caught the story or the meaning behind calling these the Fishermans Pearl but I think that is just lovely. It immediately spoke to me and reminded me of my love/obsession with Portugal, land of fishermen, the sea and home of my ancestors. I long to visit there someday, I’m not sure if I will be able to make it happen. Therefore, you could say I suffer from a thing called ‘saudade’ which is a Portuguese word for longing or missing something or someone you either love or have never even experienced. Look up the word sometime when you have a chance, the definition is beautiful! All this to say, Thank you for giving me 15 or so minutes of peace, calm and beauty. I’m going to purchase the printables even though I have never made any type of journal or book on my own. Perhaps over this upcoming winter I will dabble. If nothing else, just holding these beautiful papers and looking at them will bring such joy and inspiration over the upcoming dark winter months. Thank you for continuing to share your art with us and May 2021 bring you many blessings! - Cheryl
So beautiful but so much work for you. How did you ever find all the contents? Love the stencil paste image. Do you plan on selling one or two of your journals?
aw Thankyou! yes it’s a lot of work! I would say it takes months to gather everything for each collection but it’s also taken years to piece it all together! finding the fabric & learning to add it was it’s own journey, the photography, the stitching, the texture paste, the watercolor.. . it’s all kind of information accrued through the passage of time, one skill set at a time 😅 these four will all go in my Etsy shop hopefully tomorrow if all goes to plan! 🤞🏻✨🌸🌷💌
