In car business since 2010. My best month was 85 cars. The best thing I learned is do not be a typical sales person, be an experienced guide, listen customers needs and help them to find right car that would fits their needs and budget.
As far as the social media thing goes, do you just use a personal facebook or do you have a more "branded" facebook page that indicates it's your car sales page ?
I'm a little confused about the social media thing, I've never purchased a car because of social media, I live in a large city and I'm not familiar with any of the dealerships social media pages.
@@megedoubleu just like in the 90s a lot of people didn’t buy from dealerships that had websites. To a lot of people it didn’t matter. It will matter soon enough
@ how many hours a week goes into this level of social media presence as far as filming/personal editing for you? And do you know a rough cost per month on how much you have to pay per month for the help you get with editing?
Russ. I am graduating this year and I want to joining the industry as a car salesman straight out of highschool. How do I go about getting the job? It seams like most of the dealerships around me don't have the basic application/Online applications. Do I go in and just talk about it with someone, and if so, who?
I started in car sales 3 months ago and I’m slowly improving my first month I did 7 cars and the next month I did 9.5 and this month I ended at 11.5 the one thing I struggle with is I will ask questions and I’ll get the response you don’t need to know that right now or it’s to much for you right now
Hi Russ - your point about self development and roleplay is spot on. I’m actually building a mobile app that lets car sales reps roleplay conversations with realistic AI buyers for just this purpose. They also receive AI feedback on how they can improve . Would love to get your feedback and see if we can partner here! Will message you!

Having a sales person’s personality helps too!
Basically not having morals.
Looking to get back into this industry with a fresh start! Your video is GREAT timing!
*So basically... just put a big bow on every single car, right? Easy peasy lemon squeezy 🎀*

Probably because they don’t do it
@@russflipswhips I get that, it's just weird, such a large city with so many dealerships.

I subscribed because of your call to action to do it in the middle of the video. Thought you would like to know it was effective.
Very useful thank you

Always ask for the managers debit card when getting lunch 😅
Gotta pay for those lunches somehow!
@@russflipswhips do all mangers allow you to take their debit card?
Most definitely good looking😮💨
Hey Russ thanks for the content I’m just starting to get into sales. What are the best brands to work for?
Really depends where you live, but Toyota, Honda, ford, Chevy, are all good brands to start with
Do you have any videos on getting into sales with no experience
That’s exactly what this video is…
