Car fpv is great for windy or wet days, been doing it a while now. My grandson who loves using my gear will love this at home so will order him one.
Fpv RC car is how I got myself finally used to fpv!
Looks like a great way to spend a day. This looks like a very good value little racer.
People are really having good fun with this little "ground whoop" driving around indoors.

What I recommend is a cheap crawler, like the ones from WPL. It's slow, but has great suspension, so it's really smooth! And you can go almost over anything. 😃
In my parent's farm I went for almost 1km with my crawler through the road... It was a hell of fun! 😃 (Too bad I forgot to record the DVR of it. 😬)
I started with the jjrc q65 and added fpv gear.

I must admit I have been playing with FPV car stuff for some time and it can be loads of fun, I mainly have played with a toy tank making it FPV. FPV cars seam loads of fun without all the regulation restrictions.
I got mine a few days ago, and have been having a blast with it since. It is definitely toy grade, but sure adds some spice to the whoop videos and such. The fun per dollar factor is very high, I recommend this as well.I added 3D printed LED headlights to mine for driving in dark areas. thinking of adding a small voltage display to the front so I can see it in the camera ( fake OSD ). I believe the stock battery has a charging circuit built into it, or some sort of cutoff circuit. Either way, if you change the battery to a 450 mAh, I would suggest not using the USB to charge it.

I got this one, without the goggles, for Christmas. I can't disagree. A really fun experience and I can't wait to see more friends with this one. It's powerfull enough to drift.
I'm using my Tinyhawk's batteries on it. It fits like a glove. A 450mAh 1S HV one.
The only con I have is the screw for the battery bay. So annoying...
The force is really strong with this one... ^^

I've got some FPV stuff that cost me a lot more money but this thing $ for $ is a hoot. I bought two and run them around a "grand prix" circuit (aka coffee tables, chairs etc) in a match race and it's awesome evening/wet weather fun. I have had some epic crashes and the cars (being light) are surprisingly tough. I have broken one rear suspension/coil over and be warned, there are no parts for these anywhere. I managed to fix mine but short of being creative you would need to buy another car and cannibalise. In terms of charging, drill a hole in the canopy to access the USB and you wont have to take the canopy off.

Gday Lee, this little guy would be so mush fun inside i just wish that emax put just a bit more r and d into it to further refine it with full suspension and swivel camera as you mentioned, but that aside ive ordered mine as it would be to much fun, great review mate.👍🛸
Might get one was going to take my little guys Walmart truck and fpv it but I’ll let him have his Xmas gift and get one of theses

Wow, that's a lot cheaper than the 1/16 fpv stadium truck I built 2 years ago.
Even the full on set is cheaper than about anything I've seen.

The controllers do it automatically, the FPV system will have to be put on different channels though... Happy flying
A shame it has no independent suspension, no 4WD and sturdier construction.
I expect that if this goes well we will see all of that in future products from these and other manufacturers...

This car is ok but if you really want a cheap nice car, you should look at the wltoys 144001 72$ right now and slap on a aio fpv cam.
agree, but for indoor, it's to fast imo. You could tune it down, but what's the fun in that :)
