Tamil had the best songs with beautiful scripts by intelligent people who did wonders into the song to remember for ever. I loved almost all the songs of 1955 to 1970 when I was living ing Bangalore. Till I shifted away. Those days were of some of my best experience in listening to to our best singers too even though I never saw much movie's of those days. I still cherish those pleasant times linger in my soul. I still feel those days when I hear the old songs.thriving in me on hearing those old songs.

I have been watching this dance scene more than 100 times and it impressed me each and every time as a first time. Wow, what a scene. All the people involved, both the actresses (Padmini and Vaijayanthimala), the music director, the singers, the coriographer and the captain of the ship, the director, all are legends. Otherwise how a song and dance scene of a movie from 1950s still impress people. Wow, just wow.

One.more information on Padmini She studied dance at the age of 12 years along with her elder sister Lalitha at the famous Chithrodhya Narthakakalayam Trivandrum School the first school of dancing.in the Travancore state It was under the guidance of Guru Gopinath and his wife Smt.Thankamani who is this first lady student of Kerala kala mandalam to study Mohiniattam in Kerala.Padmini and Lalitha were wett trained in Kathakali dances the youngest among them Ragini also trained later They were the famous Travancore sisters trio Padmini was more versatile than Vyjanthi mala as she was adept in both forms of classical dances . her dance recitals had a lot of variety classical.folk dances and the final. Would be the Kathakali item on Bhagavad Gita with Padmini as Lord Krishna Lalitha as Arjuna in costumes as .see in Hindu mythological paintings The Dance movement were. In pristine Kathakali and the music and Drums were Chenda and Mandalam .I had watched from youg age these sisters practice hard .at rehearsals prior to their performances to get perfection in their items Guruji my father was a hard task master in his teachings until perfection was attained in both. Natya and Abhinaya there would be repeated sessions of the items. The dedication of the Travancore sisters is admirable . They have left a mark in the culture of South India and Tamilnadu..
Seeing this after long time, amazing song, unbelievable dance, exotic outfits with beautiful, gorgeous padmini and VM. I don't know whether any other actress in Indian cinema can match the beauty, elegance and features of Padmini, such a charismatic actress. When the song reaction is coming from a foreignerer after 50-60 yrs of releasing the movie, it shows good song taken with lot of efforts and hardwork will never die.
