The oven temperature setting should be no more than 180 C or 350 F, not the 250 C shown on the video. I tried that temperature and it burnt all the nuts.
I searched roasted peanuts in my own language and not only were they saying for 250* but also for 30min. Well, after 15 minutes they all burned. I just lost 2€ 😂 Stuff like this make me so mad. 😂
I made this today it was so good.🤤😋...but made it in a different way....😇 1. Preheat your oven at 200-230 degree celsius for 10 minutes 2. Put your peanuts into the oven and change your temperature to 250 degree celsius 3 After 5 minutes just take it out and toss it one time and then put it back in the oven for remaining 5 minutes or keep an eye on it,maximum 3-5 minutes and you'll get absolute delicious roasted peanuts 😋😋🤤🤤
Oh my! This method really works! Thanks so much Yummy treats, for sharing this method of roasting peanuts. I followed one other recipe where the lady was first boiling them in salty water, then waiting for it to dry halfway, then putting them again in salt in the pan and mixing them and this method didn’t work for me. It made the peanuts toooo salty and I had to throw them. 😏Your method is so much easier and the peanuts are so nice and crispy! Thanks again.❣️😀
250 C is way too hot. I use 350-375 F depending on the quantity. Total time 15 minutes, with a stir or move around midway, and they come out good. never hear any popping sound though!
It depends..in most of the ovens the temp vary from what is selected..so it is best to keep a watch on the peanuts.. when it starts popping you can take it out ..
Madam I wrote to you yday that you really helped me with this video, on how to roast peanuts. And you graciously wrote back also. Ma’am I had one question for you please. What is the best time to add salt to it as seasoning? I put some salt on it when it was almost cooled down. It didn’t work meaning I want it more salty, but the salt all settles at bottom of jar. Should I put salt while it’s still hot?
If you want it salty you can add the salt together with it before roasting..But this is tasty as it is ..It is better ti add salt mixed with some oil so that it will easily stick to it.
@@anitasapra how it's done where I come from, if you want to roast it tomorrow, sprinkle some very little water and then add d salt to it and mix together till d next day you wan to roast it and you will get a perfect salted peanuts and trust me its not salty at all.
Okay here is how to add salt; Dissolve the appropriate portion of salt you require in a very little water just enough to get the groundnut wet not soaked. Pour the salt water on the raw groundnut thoroughly mixing it together. You can let the salt and groundnut sit for just 2 minutes before placing it in the oven. That’s how it’s done here. Hope you find it helpful
if you preheat the oven well in advance 5 minutes to 10 minutes will be fine.depending on your oven . if you don't preheat 10 to 12 minutes .. In short keep an eye after 5 minutes..best way is to take out when they start to pop
I used 370 F which is 190 C under, the top level. burned a little bit. I set 20 minutes. I stopped when 7 minutes left. so maybe under level should be fine. but top level.
You have to keep an eye on it ... I find different oven different hotness... where you place on the oven also matters ... keep an eye on it the first time you make it ....
250 degrees for 10 mins!!! Really u gonna make ppl waste their tym n money watching ur video!!!! Mines burnt at such a high heat level within 5 mins, following ur instructions!!!
Oh ! Sorry for that. You can spread the peanuts evenly in a tray and bake for 10 minutes @ 200C. Some over / peanuts takes even lesser time. So Please eyeball it, when it starts to pop you can remove it from the oven. You can add salt at this point or even have it without salt
I dont have time to watch long clips of how peanuts look in oven. Mention the step, show it while you do, and move to next step. I do not want to see each peanut from 4 sides and listen to a music album. Get to the point.
@@YummyTreats I am moving on. The peanuts turned out nice. You are missing the point. Your recipe is good. Your video is too long and drawn out. Do not get your back up on constructive criticism. @@YummyTreats Yes you absolutely helped. 😀
You should have roasted more peanut without salt and mix with it
Wow that's a complicated way of doing it 🤣
i come here once a day for the music and the popping sound.
OMG.....My neighbor likes to hear peanuts popping too. She thinks it's soothing.
Different strokes for different folks 😆✌🏿💓
250C?? I followed the instructions and by minute 7 I noticed all peanuts are burned
I thought it said 5 minutes
@@GrAsSMoPer video says 10 Minutes on 250C

Maybe because he only heated from above and put it far away (down), but he didnt mention it in the video
😂😂
Don't you open and stir them or something?

250C celsius? Are you crazy? Your peanuts will be black. You must have 180C or 350F !
I done that, leave to 10min, after 6min they look like cafe beans

350 F or 175 C should do it, though for longer i.e. about 20 to 25 Min

10min in 'preheated oven' ?
you can watch out for the popping of the peanuts and can take it out then , not every oven
temperatures are the same as shown on the thermostat

This video is bad advice. The smoke point for peanut oil is 232 degrees celcius. 250 degrees will degrade the oil in the peanut & turn it rancid! 😱
