It was just Hugh jackman being defensive of his title as longest running superhero character. He’d just lost it to the he’d just lost it and got bumped down to 3rd place. Wesley Snipes is in second and is one of the only guys who predated Hugh Jackman, both are predated Michael Keaton as Batman.

For anyone who is as confused as most of these reactions about Gambit’s accent. Gambit is from New Orleans and is speaking a mix of Creole French and English. Channing’s accent is spot on for Gambit.
The number of reactors that didn’t know that Channing Tatum was all set up to have his own Gambit movie, but it got cancelled at the last minute, is alarming!
I get people from other countries not recognizing a Cajun accent, but what is with Americans not getting it? Have so few people heard it before. And I'm not even a serious X-Men fan, but even I knew Remy LaBeau/Gambit was Cajun. It's kind of in the name.
Ima need these folks to understand that Gambit is from New Orleans and he speaks Cajun English and Louisiana French. Ima need em to get it together cause he talked the same way in the cartoon too.
"Figgy", "Revengers", "Use his regular voice", "Lara Croft". Yeah sounded pretty retired to me. He tried playing that "Lara Croft" as a joke afterwards but you can hear in his voice he was for real.
Laissez les bon temps rouler= Let the good times roll. A common saying here in New Orleans. Can't help but catch a little French along the way down here. (Did take French in high school too)😁👍
Gambit is cajun, the accent for which is a complex mix of the deep Southern Louisiana accent and the French accent. Louisiana has a unique accent amongst the South as is, and the cajun community has a more complicated accent
How do people not know that Gambit has a Cajun accent? It's a deep south twang mixed with French Canadian. He is actually nailing Gambit's accent people just don't know Gambit's background
Did the Pillow Hero people steal the movie and use the stolen footage for the reaction? That's next level scummy to be trying to make money off of it when you couldn't even be bothered to pay once for it
I honestly don't know how that DJgames channel doesn't get nuked off the face of the planet - nearly every reaction I've ever seen from him is from a screener or webcam download. In fact, another channel in this round up looks like they were using a webcam as well but it's hard to tell since I think they watch it on a home screen.
It's funny how many people don't know who Electra is or Gambit, or even X-23. I mean, I know Gambit since X-Men Animated Series. And sometimes when you watch these reactions you wanna scream in to the screen that, that is that person from the comic book. I mean, I didn't know none of them, outside of Gambit, UNTIL I played Marvel Ultimate Alliance game. And since then I know all of them. And then the Blade trilogy.. oh man, what a memory. Blade movies is still cool. Now we need Ang Lee's Hulk, Nick Cage Ghostrider, original Fantastic 4 from back in the days and I'm gonna be happiest man alive.
The thing I can't understand is that how did these reactors not go see this in the theater? I mean, from what they are wearing and background of their rooms, it looks like they are comic fans.
The Ragin' Cajun! This is how we know that ya'll are young'uns. In the theatre I was blown away by how good the accent and French was. I'm not from Louisiana and even I can tell that isn't proper Creole. But hey, beggars can't be choosers?
Respectfully, Cajun and Creole are two different subsets of the same culture. Cajuns are typically of European descent, and Creoles are typically of African descent. Their cuisine and languages are also slightly different.
What gets me is some of these people know Gambit but don't know where he's from and what accent he's speaking with. I've seen countless arguments online saying his accent is good and crap from people who say they're also from New Orleans or that area.
This video is proof that a lot of people don’t know or has never read a Marvel comic in their life. A lot of them don’t even know the characters, where they’re from, their names or even know their powers. I can bet my life that these are also the ones that critique and hate on Marvel cause they do not know who the characters is because is not Iron-man or Captain America.

Without the “causal” part of the fan base these comic movies wouldn’t even scratch the surface of mainstream cinema. They make up the majority of the success these movies have had.
For those of you that don't know Gambit is from New Orleans and he has that weird accent from New Orleans so there you go.
Everyone should know. If they don't, they've failed and need to reevaluate their lives.
@@Uberstauffer Or at the very least, they should watch the old X-Men show. That and the 90s Spider-Man show were the peak of TV.
Everyone should know gambits unintelligent gibberish is not a cajin accent
@@jewferigno6920 his accent is Cajun what are you talking about?
@@underprotest4946 Cajun accents aren't 95% gibberish you clown lol
A lot of people don’t know that Channing Tatum auditioned for the Gambit movie which was never produced. So seeing him here didn’t surprise me.
Seeing Wolverine in his full uniform was unbelievable it looked incredible a close second is seeing Gambit in his uniform looks just like the cartoon whoever made their costumes I thank you
I fucking LOVE the fact that this movie singlehandedly gave us exactly what we all wanted where it came to Blade. His time in this movie, trumps an ENTIRE movie with Mahershalamadamadingding or whatever the fuck his name is.
Snipes' Blade, is THE Blade. His movies are what really kicked off the superhero movie craze, damn right it was the best decision ever to bring him back.
I had to laugh at everyone not knowing Gambit is Cajun from New Orleans and hence the accent. Too funny.
Jennifer Garner still looks so beautiful after all these years ❤️❤️❤️
That blade music intro
That beast purr sound effects when Blade walks through it
@@sandiegomathewp.7456 Imagine Wesley had been Black Panther
These reactors just don't realize that Gambit is Cajun. Probably the most annoying thing about it all. He actually nailed Gambits actual voice.
Blade's sound effect is a roar from an adult panther because he is old and experienced with his 1st trilogy that started marvel movies in the late 90's to early 2000's, way before the MCU in 2008.
But because channing tatum's gambit movie never got made, his sound effect is a kitten's tiny *"MEOW."* 😹
i feel so old when they say "Is that the original actor of blade" like hes dead or something those movies were my childhood. Also love how they sent off the Foxsudios characters off not as a joke but more as a tribute for them coming together. Was really sweet to me.
The return of 3 legendary actor and actresses.
With an honorable mention to Channing Tatum, who never got to play the character he campaigned for YEARS to get a movie for.
@@AdeptusCaeiusIII Actually Channing Tatum is new to me.
@@AdeptusCaeiusIII Actually Channing Tatum is new to me.
@@johnsantos507 He's been campaigning to be Gambit since before X-Men Origins. He was even confirmed that he'd get a Gambit movie way back when. Hence the 'I'm pretty sure I was born here' line. Instead of Gambit getting his own movie, they got a Canadian to play him straight for the Wolverine movie.
@@AdeptusCaeiusIII I thought the other guy who was the actor of Gambit from X-Men Origins Wolverine movie. But like I said, Channing Tatum is new to me.
The fact that some of these reactors don't even recognize the cameos, at first, really makes me feel old now. Gotta keep reminding myself that some of these people were either too young or weren't even born yet when these superhero movies, that these actors came from, came out 😅
gambits power is amazing, he can kinetically charge any object he touches
Fun fact, Jennifer Garner still plays with the sai. She's said in an interview that she'll bring them out and do tricks with them.
it was so cool to finally get some gambit up in here, always been a diehard fan of the character and he was great in this movie
Now disney got cheap, gets me every time... 😂
GAMBIT IS CAJUN! Y’all need to read a comic book.😂
Or google his history 1 or the other 😂
guy whining about the accent at 18:48.....im guessing he doesn't realise other accents actually exist in the world....
It’s kind of amazing how many people know where Gambit is, but don’t know that he’s Cajun.
They’re uncultured swine 😂
I blame x men origins personally the actor who played him was canadian not cajun where as channing is from alabama then moved to Mississippi so he can definitely pull off the cajun accent
@@brandonhession8550 Yeah, he just used his Tim Riggins Texas accent from Friday Night Lights rather than trying to do a Cajun accent.
Yes I also freaked out over Blade 😭 was so happy
Thank you Kevin Figgy 🤣
I read this comment before the video even started and I was waiting for it………. I finally died laughing when I heard it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I squealed at this scene so much! Second time my bro saw it with me he had huge smile.
Whats funny is i saw eletra in her movie when i was really young she was my first hero movie lol so i was more excited for her, than blade, even though i loved all 3 blades
having now seen the scene over and over again.... can we all agree Electras Sias are made of adamantium given she straight blocks Deadpools now adamantium Katanas....
Growing up me and my mom watched the blade movies on repeat and seeing this movie in theaters with her was a top 10 experience in my life
For anyone who is as confused as most of these reactions about Gambit’s accent. Gambit is from New Orleans and is speaking a mix of Creole French and English. Channing’s accent is spot on for Gambit.
Wesley's Snipes Blade is a math a legend for people that don't know now his Blade moves
The number of reactors that didn’t know that Channing Tatum was all set up to have his own Gambit movie, but it got cancelled at the last minute, is alarming!
I would watch a movie/ limited series, with those 4. It’s a well balanced team. The only one who can pass away is Gambit.
I get people from other countries not recognizing a Cajun accent, but what is with Americans not getting it? Have so few people heard it before. And I'm not even a serious X-Men fan, but even I knew Remy LaBeau/Gambit was Cajun. It's kind of in the name.
I can't tell you how excited i was when gambit came out
Ima need these folks to understand that Gambit is from New Orleans and he speaks Cajun English and Louisiana French. Ima need em to get it together cause he talked the same way in the cartoon too.
Gambit is French Cajun people!
😂 He didn't watch Elektra, but he knows Elektra's in it. Lol
16:32. Dreams are windows into the lives of our multiversal selves.
NGL, that last reactor sound "retired"
"Figgy", "Revengers", "Use his regular voice", "Lara Croft". Yeah sounded pretty retired to me. He tried playing that "Lara Croft" as a joke afterwards but you can hear in his voice he was for real.
The hell by watching this a lot people really don’t know how cajun sounds like he was spot on
"Kevin Figgy" LOL
"Elektra!"
"Blade!"
"Channing Tatum!?"
Laissez les bon temps rouler= Let the good times roll. A common saying here in New Orleans. Can't help but catch a little French along the way down here. (Did take French in high school too)😁👍
Pillow hero.... damn boy, u aimed high, and won
Gambit is cajun, the accent for which is a complex mix of the deep Southern Louisiana accent and the French accent. Louisiana has a unique accent amongst the South as is, and the cajun community has a more complicated accent
Yes wesley snipes was my favourite I never thought I would see him as blade again
Ironically, that is Channing's real voice. I find it funny how no one knows anything about the guy. 😅
"Now this is what you called VARIANTS, not RECYCLED actor/actress".....I hope Ryan Reynolds made a joke for this at Secret Wars.
Why do so many people not know that gambit is Cajun, and from the bayou of Louisiana?
I really, really hope someone has shown Wesley Snipe these reactions and the unabashed joy his return brought to everyone.
If the deadpool's katanas are really made by adamantium, it was literally cut of the Elektra's Dagger.
How do people not know that Gambit has a Cajun accent? It's a deep south twang mixed with French Canadian. He is actually nailing Gambit's accent people just don't know Gambit's background
Channing Tatum needs his own Gambit movie. Was supposed to happen so long ago…. Now we need it
I am appalled nobody knew about Electra
A bit interesting how many people know who Gambit is, yet don't seem to know about him. He's a Cajun from the bayous of Louisiana. Thus the accent.
I'm still mad Wolverine never called Gambit Gumbo. Talking about Disney getting cheap
Did the Pillow Hero people steal the movie and use the stolen footage for the reaction? That's next level scummy to be trying to make money off of it when you couldn't even be bothered to pay once for it
I've watched this move five times n i didn't get bored
I honestly don't know how that DJgames channel doesn't get nuked off the face of the planet - nearly every reaction I've ever seen from him is from a screener or webcam download. In fact, another channel in this round up looks like they were using a webcam as well but it's hard to tell since I think they watch it on a home screen.
I refuse to believe that any of these people were able to avoid these camoes.
When Blade walked in the theater lost their shit...
Right?! Out of all the cameos they could have brought on he is by far one I would never have expected.
I lost my mind! Literally. You can tell everyone else lost their mind too 😂
my favorite detail is that almost all of these cameos are from the fox era, while in the dead fox universe. 🤣
Who wants to tell the guy at the end that gambit is fucking Cajun. Channing actually does a great accent.
All these young people who don't understand the utter significance of these cameos and the history! 😢
Q: What is it with him and Thor?
A: His favorite Chris
Gambit is Cajun, that's why the accent. Why don't people get this.
Are these the very few people who didn’t see this movie in the cinemas 😂😂
They make money from their reaction channels. It's the tradeoff they make.
I refuse to believe these are genuine reactions, how did they not see this in theaters and know any spoilers
Okay how could there be so many fans of Gambit and nobody knew he was Cajun?
I still think that Wesley Snipe's Blade was the best cameo.
Most people who critique and hate on marvel are comic neeks so you’re wrong with that
