Ciao Dante, a bit higher and faster than the equivalent kick in Yang Tai Chi, fantastic, also you look different. Cheers

Ciao Peter. True, in traditional Yang taiji it is the same kick! I just cut my hair due to the excessive heat these days.

Thank you Dante. My friend, if you don't mind my asking, how old are you in this video?
(I just turned 65.) As always, wishing you and yours the very best.
    Peace

Ciao Stefan. I made this video this morning and I'm 61 years old. I have always liked martial arts, but now in maturity they are giving me much more than personal defense. Together with diet and traditional medicine they allow me to cultivate good health.

An inspiration to all older guys.

Certain. When you're older you jump less. But the martial sense of what is done remains. This is a very practical and effective kick, which consumes much less energy than it seems.

@@DanteBasili you demonstrate a level of agility, a purpose in techniques, as well as the ease and sheer joy of movement that belies your age. Much admiration from an aging practitioner of Kungfu.

I'll admit I don't understand all kung fu and for all body types. But this seems like a big use of energy and something that might get captured.

Ciao. These types of kicks, both ground and jumping, are much more economical and natural in terms of energy than it seems by looking at them. Less than a side kick for example. Probably due to centrifugal force. I remember that it amazes me.
