Great to see you back with Rammstein guys, I've missed your reactions. This is one of those songs that could be so easily screwed up live because it's so stripped back. Instead, Till, to me, brings another level of vulnerability to what is a sinister but also sympathetic character. The Sandman isn't the Sandman through choice after all. Flake's performance is faultless.It's easy to forget that he is classically trained in piano. Haunting is THE word to describe the song and this version of it. Great reaction from you both.

Playing piano myself - just as a hobby - I can say this piece is actually not that easy to play. Flake did a perfect job pulling this off in a live festival setting!

The piano is the star of the show for me. The more i listen to the live version or the studio recorded the more focus I throw onto it.
My brother has been learning the piano in the past couple of years as well. I would say I would do the same however I know I don't have the time to dedicate to it. Love that others are though so I can at least experience the beauty that can come from talented people utilising the instrument.
