Thank you for sharing your story. Some people just don't understand the struggle. It happens to me frequently. Wheen I try to force my way forward, I typically make more or greater mistakes. I do set it a side for a time. There are times I set a project aside for days. When I return I either can move forward or just start over. Early in my scrapbooking journey, I was told it's always fine to edit . I give myself permission to do so.
We are always our worst critic. I am a perfectionist, and I had to learn to let go of it and give myself permission not to be perfect. Otherwise, I do not enjoy it. Now that I have let go of that, I am really enjoying scrapbooking much more! Your layout turned out really nice & beautiful!
Your layout is really pretty. I love the fun look of the bunny over your title. I watch a lot of videos and everyone focuses on the “rules” to scrapbooking and forget it is about saving story. Your layout does this and years from now your kids will love it.
I love the way this turned out and I am glad you shared your frustrations, it really shows that you are human and it is also a good teaching moment on how to make things work or cover them up! 😉
I think your layout turned out great! I can definitely relate to getting annoyed with a page and having to leave it and come back later. It's pretty common with a lot of my scrapbook layouts. 😊 I do love the addition of the stamping on your title. I should try things like that more often tfs
Nice save Jessica! I had a struggle earlier this week. I decided I wanted to use a woodgrain paper as a starting point. I struggled for a few hours before changing to completely different papers!! Once I had the base, I was good to go, but I had used up my time! It all went together quickly the next day.
You're much too hard on yourself, and clearly a perfectionist in your expectations. It's an adorable page. They can't all be our favorites. I have "cringe" pages in my albums, but that's what art and creativity is all about. It can't all look the same. 🩷

I love that idea of giving yourself permission! ❤️❤️ It’s so true that forcing yourself forward results in more frustration. Thanks for watching! 😊
I have to just walk out of the craftroom and close the door. haha. Your layout turned out just fine.
LOL! Yes, it’s so true! 😂
And I love the stamping on the letters! What a wonderful idea!!

Thank you! You’re so right about being hard on ourselves!
This came out really adorable. When I get stumped, I also walk away.
Aww, thanks! 🩷 I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that!
Super cute! I think we all just have to walk away sometimes and come back! Your layout turned out great!
Thank you! 😊
Oh my goodness! I love your kitty helper!
My sweet little Petunia! 😻 I really thought she was going to mess up my stamping 😂😂

Thank you so much for your kind words! 🩷🩷🩷
What rules are you mean? I don’t think of rules.
Beautiful layout! When I have an issue, I go to another page and revisit that pages later. You may like it better tomorrow! Thanks for sharing!😊
Good idea! Thanks for watching! 🩷🩷
Your "fixes" worked perfectly! Such a cute page!
Aww, thank you so much! I was sweating it there for a while! 😅😅
So adorable!! I wish I could scrapbook as wonderfully as you, then I might get a bit more frustrated! Lol
You’re so sweet! 🩷

Oh, that’s annoying, especially when scrapbooking time is limited and precious! Isn’t it funny how one little change can make such a difference?
Very cute and great fix for your “oops” 😊. I do all the things you do when I get flustered but I hv also put it aside for a couple of days 😂. TFS
Can you begin another layout in the meantime? I struggle with that, too! 😅 Thanks for watching! 🩷
@@JessicaDipzinskiThePaperHeart yes I can do that lol
