Really like this idea. I’ve not really made the decorative paperclips, but I’ve been thinking about making some to use as bookmarks and this would speed things up if I had the blanks already make.
You should! It takes most of the frustration out of the equation if the blank canvas is waiting for you.

Wow, that is so neat because it totally eliminates the need to put together the hidden paper clip on waxed paper which is how I did it while I made mine. I would round off the bottom corners just to make them slide over the page easier. TFS!

Lolly this is such a great idea and your video was so nice and straight forward. I’ve not made hidden paper clips but I’ve followed a tutorial and made some cute decorative charms using paper clips you bend to make curly Q’s on the end and attach charms and beads to for a decoration in a journal. I think I’ll make some of these like yours and use for bookmarks for gifts and embellish with cute items. Thanks so much for the tutorial! 🥰

Not clear on how I would use these
It's a paper clip. It holds papers together, so it fills all of those uses plus adds fun and creativity to the process. Crafters use them as decorative book marks in journals, planners, notebooks, reading books, etc.
