Haha when you were setting up the camera, in the first instruction it said to have 8 feet between you and the camera, since you live in USA. I live in Saudi Arabia, and it says 2 meters. This shows that Sony gave attention to every minor thing. Pretty cool, huh?

You pay $60 for a camera that recognizes about 5 words and has to fit you perfectly into a box to work right. Kinect can do ANYTHING with just a word. I dont need my controler to type to people or enter codes or surf the web, or skype, or snap, or anything u can imagine. I can be playing a game and decide to go to the bathroom and hand the remote to my friend, and the kinect will Instantly recognize the change and upload my friends profile and switch the screen to show everything related to him. And when i come back and he hands me it back, everything will change back to me without having to push a single button. The list really goes on and on! I can be playing a game and just by saying "record this" it will record everything I want. Then I can say "upload to my account" and it uploads. As we all saw with the shitstation you have to go through a ton of steps and button clicks to do the same thing. Convenience is worth paying for. The amazing tech is worth paying for. PS is JUST now getting SOME of the features MS has had for YEARS!

the tech in this camera is purely software. Its basicly a logitech webcam repackaged. As for the tech demo, 5 minutes and after that its over. Not sure why people are excited at this and hate the Kinect
What really matter are the Hertz. If you had condition to buy a Full HD tv, with 600Hz is the best choice. But you'll find 600Hz only in Plasma tvs, and plasma tvs don't have a good lighting, I mean, you'll need a dark place to play or watch movies. LED tvs are Full HD, but has generally 240Hz.
