This is one of the best systems I've bought for any ladder I've owned. I use this ladder for construction, going into my attic, painting the stair well, & much more. Anytime I don't have an uneven surface to contend with my ladder I just remove the ladder leg extension. You can attach and detach the ladder leg extension leveler. I've used automatic ladder leg extension in the past and it would work 95% of the time but I still had to keep adjusting it based on the pressure that I put on the feet. I found this system to be the most reliable and safest ladder accessory. Both the gorilla ladder and lateral leg leveler each have a way capacity of 375 pounds. This is one of the best ladder leg extenders for ladders with angled or straight leg bases.
I have a 13’ Gorilla extendable and foldable ladder that I highly recommend for any job. I think it is the best extendable attic ladder. If you buy one mounted attic ladder you can't use it on any other property but if you have my ladder setup you can into just about any attic you would like because you ladder system is portable. This system is great for ladders jobs. I highly recommend the Ladder-Max LeveLok Ladder Leveler.

Every ladder should already have them. I refuse to modify a ladder for safety reasons

How does it work on stair steps and the gorilla?>
It works perfectly fine! I have a friend that is 6'-4" 328lbs and had no issues. If anything I thought that his wooden steps were going to give out lol. Just make sure the ladder is well angled and perpendicular to the steps. The weight capacity for this setup is 375lbs.
Does this leg level only work with Werner ladders?
It will work with other ladders besides Werner. You just have to see if you can safely mount all the hardware to one of your ladder legs or both depending on how many extension you buy.
