Luv me my M3’s. I’ve had one of each since 1991. Stopped at the F80 because it still has so much tuning potential. Have had me some tuned 996 P cars n/a and tt, but I think they’ve grown fat and overweight, lost their ways and a tuned M3 of the respective generation can put a serious spank on. Just my two cents
Is the smell realy that bad as they say? And what if you besides resonators put a cat back, you lose the smell but do you lose also the sound or is it still that laud?
It's horrendous on 91. Some say E is worse, but I severely disagree. I much prefer E, makes it not too bad. I always run full E, and have been for the past nearly 5 years. I can't stand getting in someone else car and smelling the 91 for more than a few seconds.
on these cars specifically, you only really lose the sound up top. Down low, axle back can be pretty loud but it plateaus mid RPM whereas full system just keeps screaming

(OK Boomer) And everyone on around the road hates you lk a Harley rider. That drone will turn brain to oatmeal in a day. 😅 Stock sounds great already, just lower stimulus and I can still drive 12 hrs day with it.
