As unfortunate it is that Athelstan’s story is very relatable. It’s nice to here his story have a happy ending and provide some hope to those in a dark time.

Honestly when M'lord mentioned the break up, honestly it hit right home for me. Since I'm going through my stuff my battles, it's just recently that I'm starting to finally open to self love and self motivation, those words hit home and at times thought hit hard, maybe at times the battle will always be there, but one keeps going and pushing and overcoming. I'm still standing and many others as well are. Im proud of you all and I'm proud of M'lord and myself. We can all keep going we can do this and find that curiosity and have that nice special fit in this huge world.

Honestly it didn´t convince me fully to stop but at least gave me a lil bit of hope and time to think of maybe having a future of becoming and experiencing something similar like Aethel. Someone who is able to freely tell about his problems/past, being a cheery person who can get along with most of the people and having people that support him fully

Finished watching this for the first time and all I can say is be realistic everyone! Don't give out false hopes because some people never make it and that leaves many unfulfilled. The world could be erased in a blink by the universe and we would not be remembered. Just live life if you can if not that's fine too, be loved and love, hate and be hated. My life is a nightmare not better than most and not worst than some my mom is my only anchor and the second she is gone so will I.

16 times i was in an ambulance fighting for a life i was trying to throw away, first time i was out and back in to hospital in under 2 hours. Twice my heart failed but last time was 7-8 years ago now. my parents went out to pick my sister up from the airport for xmas. i remember doing something id usually do, but did too much and i came to, to see, by my bedside - my mum, dad, sister, granny AND THEN my grandad, the guy who basically raised me n taught me most the things i knew when young. i couldn't look at him, he never knew i had a problem with anything. that was my bottom. that was the moment i said to myself, 'lets not do this, maybe time to take getting help seriously'
and now, got a fella of 6 years (who seen and went through similar things as me since we were same friend group) and became an addiction counselor, who better for the job eh? still have my dark moments but after the amount of shit ive been through, ive learnt how to deal with it in a healthier manner

similar things have happened to me and i agree, now that it's mostly in the past i feel like i'm way too curious about what comes next to let it end. it could even be seeing the ending of a show you love, whatever it doesn't matter, i'm way too excited to see what fun things the world has to offer to not fight for it and i'm grateful for that feeling.

I've had a pretty easy life but I struggled with a lot of depression during my teenage years. It got really bad at one point and I had suicidal thoughts. But I kept going and trucking on and eventually I had a moment one day where I had an epiphany and got a lot better with a new outlook on life. It may seem like nothing will change or get better but as long as you make the effort to keep going and be as positive as possible you will make it.
At least one good parent. Gets a kid through a lot. 🙏🏻 More support, more better.

If anyone is having thoughts of suicide and things like that, please don't hesitate to ask for help. I know from personal experience, if I hadn't asked for help I wouldn't be here now. I have to live a full life (as much as possible) for the ones that didn't. I gave an oath and God damnit I will uphold my oath if it's the last thing I'll ever do. Wow. I could have had the same life as you, dude. My dad fought hard to get custody of my brother and I. My bio mother, she isn't my mom, imo. The woman who raised me is, without her, it would have just been my dad. I also have family who emancipated, so there is no shame in that.

Man depression sucks, my mom was a abuse drunk and she would not feed me or my brother for day's at a time, when my dad finally got custody of me I would only eat dog food because that's all me and my brother could eat, years go by and I fell into depression It was getting to the point of me having nightmares about falling in a black hole I couldn't escape, I would have headache's for weeks at a time and it got to the point where I was begging God to end my life, after asking that many times over and nothing happened I went into my room and grabbed my shotgun, I was about to load it up and put it under my chin but for some reason my thoughts started jumbling up and I couldn't think clearly, and for some reason I looked at my phone and at the time I had Goku set as my wallpaper and it was like he persuaded me not to go through with it, I tried talking to my dad but he said yeah son I went through something similar and he didn't say anything after that, that is the reason why I keep everything to myself because when I tried talking to people they didn't listen, so I finally moved away from that place that held me in a dark place, and at this new place my still sucks but I'm not depressed anymore I managed to shove it under and lock it up, so after 10 years of a literal black hole I am free of it.
If you had succeeded that night, the people who met through you, fell in love and have Babies now wouldn't have happened.
Failing that night made whole lives

I didn't know that you used to live in Ohio, Athel. I would've tried to have you under my wing, and show you what Ohio is like with its true colors. Sometimes, it's difficult to hate a state that you live in, just because of someone's actions. Trust me, I've been there, and still live there to this day, because I believe that Ohio has potential to be a great state to live in; it's that the higher ups just can't see it.
But you living in Japan is what I believe as a wise decision on your part. But I see each country to have their own sets of pros and cons, and you'll have to be flexible with it as with everyone else.
