- This video will show you How To Download Vods On Twitch From ANY Channel. I looked on RUclips through every popular video and none give a tutorial that 1. still works and 2. doesn't make you download some 3rd party software to your computer.

I want this channel to forever be routed in knowledge as well as giving you all the proper perspective to succeed in life. Most of my videos are how to grow on twitch / how to grow with live streaming related because of my background in marketing. Truthfully marketing is the secret to making anything successful in life, even yourself. Then once you learn all of this marketing skill, you'll be able to apply it to other aspects of your life and become the greatest version of you.
There is always an excuse if you want there to be one. This is perspective ( soon I am creating a series of all of the necessary evils in life and how you can apply these to your life ) that I don't know if you're ready to hear but I feel as if everyone needs to hear it. I forever want to tell you what you NEED to hear, and not what you want to hear.
I do not want to sugar coat anything for the sake of you subscribing because I fed your ego. I want those supporting me to be the ones that realize they are in complete control of their future, although they can use me to get ahead faster in life. Those that truly understand that and apply what I say with that mindset are going to be the ones that truly succeed in this industry.
Streaming is extremely saturated meaning there are millions of streamers desperately trying to build a viewership on twitch. They are all waiting for the day that they get lucky and get raided or just magically start to get viewers. This is far from what will ever happen because of how live streaming platforms are built. If you are trapped in the dreaded 1-2 viewer loop with livestreaming the ONLY way you're going to get out of it is creating exposure through other platforms such as RUclips. That is why my patreon community is built around helping you creating a viewership by interacting with your posts on high follower accounts. Great job. This extension was hugely helpful.
There are other website that provide a similar service but they're limited to a maximum length segment of the VOD. This extension does have a maximum download length, but it automatically lets you download the entire VOD in segments with no more input than hitting "save" multiple times when each file is ready.

For those struggling with importing it into premiere pro, find the recordings in file explorer. Make sure you have file name extensions showing (for windows 10: view tab at the top > check the 'file name extensions' box. similar for windows 11) and change the file extension from '.mp4' to '.mts'. Worked for me!

Great Vid. Vey well explained and got a thumbs up:) but... I'm having issue with the Twitch VOD downloader software. It wont let me download older VOD's, like ones that are more than 2 months old. When I click the "View/download this VOD with out Ads" button, it shows a spinning purple wheel with "getting stream ID" written in the middle. It just hangs like that and wont load the next part. Any ideas?
Honestly I haven’t tried downloading older vods. I’ll try and let you know if I find a solution

@@SethMarshallNYC still works in chrome you just need to go into your extensions and update it. I may make a updated tutorial if necessary

It wouldn't download the whole VOD. Just the first 2 parts. Refreshed and kept trying but the last 2 parts just couldn't finished download.
Yes, with long vods sometimes it takes a couple times to get it working properly. Works better for short vods
Why the hell did they change the color scheme? It's almost impossible to read the black text over the dark border.

It has some smaller bugs, but it is working and downloads the vod's in good quality.

Try downloading the full vod, not just a clip

Does this method maintain the bitrate and quality of the stream?
You can choose the quality of the download
@@Twatterlive and the bitrate? The properties of the downloaded file don't show up so I have no idea if it maintained the bitrate. I know it did for the quality. The issue is if I set it to render at the VOD'S bitrate but its not maintained that bit rate it can make it blurry

my only problem with twitch vod downloader extension is that it splits up the vods which is annoying cuz i have to merge them manually.

I've tried to dl a video about 5 hours long and it dlds the first two parts fine and refuses to dl any thereafter. Any ideas as to why it keeps stopping? I'm not leaving the tab.
No idea but I did a 5 hour and 30 minute stream no problem. It broke it into a lot of parts but still worked.
@@Twatterlive I ended up continuing my download at the exact time frame where it stopped at the last successful download. I had to end up doing that for the rest of the stream. For some reason it will only download two sections and then cancel

@insane2539 yeah just to speed it up, download it in sections using the scroller for the sections you want to save time the downloads can take up to 10 min for 15min of video

I can't put the mp4 into davinci resolve, and when I try to convert it, it loses quality, and way around this?

@rackpog the only thing that worked for me is converting it in capcut, and from there export and import that into davinci, a pain in the butt lol
@ does it take less time then manually opening obs and recording and then letting it record the vod? because thats what i do right now and it sucks when the vod is like 5 hours and i have to let it sit there
@@rackpog I'd say yeah, it's faster since you won't have to record the whole vod seperately, you'll have the whole vod converted and from there can import it to davinci, without having to manually record things. Good luck buddy.

What happens after i've downloaded the stream to the kickbot app, but the original kick stream gets deleted. wil my downloaded stream save or will it dissapear too
I believe kickbot saves it for 14 days or something but it’s not permanent unless you download it to your PC
