I had to come back here to thank you so much for this tutorial. I had this urge to braid my own hair because the prices out there are ridiculous on top of having a scalp condition where it isn’t worth it for me. I tried your method last night and it was so much easier for me! I’m amazed that I did this on random Tuesday night at 9pm 😅. I did them super jumbo (24) and it took me 3.5 hours. Question: Is the crochet method better for your hair? And by that I mean is there less tension, less pulling, less shedding…? I stopped getting braids because it was way too harsh and too much tension on my hair, and my hair broke off at the nape of my neck.
