If they release these features for free or a lower fee, it would be the best value product on the market that could help people improve their swing. Without club data, not much swing improvement can be done right.
Hi Scott. Thanks for the update. I have a mevo +2023 with the pro package and the face impact software. Outside of the new courses will all of the updates be released for the mevo +2023? Just trying to understand the differences between the 2023 and the limited edition. Thanks
Slightly longer battery life (3 hours), the 2 courses are basically it. They were thinking that people who already have what you have, this isn't for you. The software updates will be the exciting stuff.
Do you have any idea on how Badger AI and Shot Planner are going to work on existing session data? I have a lot of sessions stored where I'm working on drills and partial swings so my data can be all over the place. Will these two new tools use all available data or will you be able to note particular sessions (think club mapping, wedge matrixes) to only be used in those new tools?
@@scotthogangolf that would be awesome! I always enjoy watching your videos on showing how to better utilize the Mevo+. Thanks for all the great videos!
Scott: did you push them towards working gear effect? Indoors this is a pain. I have full comparison with GC2 data and M+ and this was drastic the longer the clubs went. Dreaded opposite spin axis compared to actual (GC2)
We talked about that. I'm going to have a video soon, I hit with a Trackman 4, Mevo+ and GC3 in our dome with about 90 yards of flight. I am seeing the opposite effect, especially on wedges and driver. Trackman and Flightscope will read a spin axis (of what the ball actually is doing) and GC3 will be backwards. Wanted to see what they thought. I also know they were working on gear effect related to the face impact release but it was going to take awhile.
Okay, 90 yards of flight is penny and outdoor mode like, right? Make a test indoors with 8-11 ft of flight and you‘ll see it struggles to represent the actual ball flight, when gear effect kicks in. Unfortunately I don’t hit center each shots so my toe draw is often missed😜
For someone that hits into a net in their driveway what do you think is the best option for this type of device. Willing to spend up to $2-3K if needed
If you want all the data and upgrades, not a much better deal than the limited edition mevo+ right now. I think you can add code SHG+ and see if it brings price down more. @@mach5k
Scott question for you, I had the Mevo plus when fusion tracking first came out. I am indoors and have about 8-8.5 ft from ball to screen. The unit always struggled with the driver (SS @105ish ball speed 150ish) I have about 8-10ft unit to ball. With all these changes and updates has the unit gotten any better for higher swing speeds indoor. My friend brought his GC3 and no issues at all. Would you recommend for my set up the Limtied edition Mevo plus BLP or the unkeecore eye mini lite Thank you!
So you have the same room I have and I don't have issues with Mevo+. Numbers match exactly to TM4. I also swing at about 108-112 (when I'm feeling good). At my speed if I'm hitting it well, I can get over 160 ball speed, but it's not always. Although new driver incoming might change that!
Also I'd say, at this point, I find it very tough to change people's minds, if you aren't finding the numbers to be good, I would try a different unit. I'm lucky to have access to TM4, two GC3's, Top Tracer and Flightscope Mevo+, and if I had UNLIMITED MONEY in the world, I would still get Mevo+ based on all my side by side testing. But that is just my opinion.

I'd agree that if you want to make swing changes, having that extra data is extremely helpful.

Im assuming all these will come at a additional cost. Not just included in a update.
The Badger AI was the thing they hadn't decided yet, so waiting to see.

It's very early, I think how it will be used will continue to evolve. So going to have to wait and see.
@@scotthogangolf if you hear anymore about this please let me know
@@amcfalls I will, hopefully be able to show a lot of cool ways it can be used too.

Is there any updates for the mevo or anything else new for the mevo? Thanks
Nothing new for the original Mevo from what I saw.
Thanks

@@patrickl5920 yea I'll try it again, I had it in indoor mode still when hitting, but just curious now, I'll keep testing.

How much room do you have from net to mat and then mat behind your hitting area. Thats the big first question.
@@scotthogangolf in driveway so tons of room

Hi
I read somewhere that worked on a more efficient way to align the device, do you have more details?
I have a more efficient way to align the device?
Will Badger AI work with previous Mevo+ hardware like the Mevo+ 2023 hardware?
Yes, it has nothing to do with hardware anything in the videos, just what upgrades you've purchased will allow some features or not.
@@scotthogangolf Thank you Scott.
Thanks for this Scott. Looking forward to the software upgrades.
As an owner of an original mevo+, can I upgrade to get the additional courses?
You'd need to ask them, I know you could upgrade to get to the 10 courses, so not sure about the extra 2.

@@scotthogangolf Thanks for the feed back.... You think lighting could be effecting the readings at all?
@@ramsinessapour8906 maybe, or other interference is possible
@@ramsinessapour8906 certianly possible, but that's usually just for something like face-impact readings.
Hi Scott, do you happen to know if this is ever going to be available for FS PC software?
They said iOS 1 then PC
Why limited edition?
For me? Or in general?
