Kizer simply just wasn’t ready. I’m a massive Notre dame fan, and I love deshone. If he stayed another year at ND I think he would’ve been a stud. Him in his rookie year was the equivalent to a damn hs QB starting. I feel bad bc it’s such a waste of talent

A few bad tips but most of it is Kizer panicking, or trying to force something that’s not there. He needs to learn how to throw the ball away, or tuck and run for a few yards vs throwing into double/triple coverage. Starring down your intended target isn’t helping either. Should not be starting yet.

BeastMode97996 Hundley also has more talented receivers in general. Gordon only played part of the season and after not playing for so long it takes some time to get back into the game. Coleman needs some more time to really become a solid receiver. The running game was very on and off (Packers had multiple rb’s show talent throughout the season, each contributing to a decent running game throughout.) Packers have three great wr’s and a decent te. Kizer admittedly has a better oline but their best piece (Joe Thomas) was injured.
BeastMode97996 Kizer needs to learn to take a sack and throw it away, he has the talent to learn and succeed. No he isn’t going to be as good as Aaron Rodgers but he can be a franchise qb with a little guidance.
He stares down his target. The Defense always knows where the ball is going. Now add in the overthrown short balls and the under thrown passes. He definitely should have stayed another year or two In college. He was never ready.

Some of these are drops by receivers but MOST of all the highlights here are stupid decisions made by him and a lack of accuracy on his throws. Kizer is not ready to be an NFL Quarterback and people are saying he should’ve stayed another year at Norte Dame it didn’t matter at all he was never going to be ready
