Can you please explain the 4th exit roundabout at 23:52. On the sign before you enter which exit is it - the long line to the right or the stub to the right?
Hey and thanks for your question...so the 4th exit is basically a U-Turn aka Full-Circle - which is going all the way around the roundabout and back to the direction you came from. In regards to the sign = from the direction we came from, - the long line pointing to the West (9 o'clock) is your 1st EXIT towards Bromley and Central Croydon - the line pointing to the North (12 o'clock) is your 2nd EXIT towards Addington and Purley - the line pointing to the East (3 o'clock) is your 3rd EXIT towards Sutton and Wallington In this video, we came in from the SOUTH (6 o'clock) and went around and back to South again - 4th RXIT The little stub you're referring to on either side of the 1st and 3rd exits are the entrance points for traffic coming onto the roundabout from the flyover. I hope I have answered your question.
…when leaving the car park, you only have to indicate LEFT to come out of the bay. No further indication needed to go around the bend and through the gates.
It's still a parking bay so you're able to safely stop there. Remember - when you're asked to pull-up, you are to do so in a SAFE, LEGAL and CONVENIENT place. That's it!
The fail was at the roundabout. At 31:05, the student attempted to use the grey car in the right lane as a blocker to enter the roundabout but misjudged it and couldn't quite keep up. The grey vehicle pulled out much faster than anticipated but what made it a serious fault was that another vehicle already on the roundabout was coming in fast from the right and had to slow down. In the original video, you could hear the driver blasting their horn. 😥🙉
Maybe in real life after you pass the test but I’d rather get done for undue hesitation Minor fault than take a 50/50 and get done for a serious or dangerous fault
Passed my test on the 7th December 2023 at Mitcham so a day after this video was shot
Congrats my friend, welcome to the pink side. 👏👏👏
Howcome at 23:59, it says 30 on the post but you put 40mph on the video?
...thats because it 40mph on the carriageway until the roundabout.
@@forsondrivingschool thank you, that makes sense!
Love to watch your videos.

At 26:37, the speed limit changes from 40 to 30, when does the 30 speed limit start, is it just after the 30 post or before?
thats correct! when there's a change in speed limit, the new speed only applies from where the sign is and you must respond to it accordingly.
@@forsondrivingschool thank you, so would you start slowing down as you start to approach the 30sign or when you see it?

@@forsondrivingschool Thank you so much this is very helpful.
This may seem like a silly question but at 00:38, do you indicate left and then at 00:49 indicate right?

@@forsondrivingschool thank you, so you would cancel the indicator as you approach the bend?
From minute 11 when she pulled out, where does it show the road sign to be 20 because I cant see it anywhere
watch from 11:03 - there are signs on either side of the road and also a floor marking clearly indicating the speed limit
Got this exact route on my test yesterday 👍
Well done! Welcome to the pink team. ❤️
Why was it ok to pull left on a place for electric cars only?
It's still a parking bay so you're able to safely stop there.

@@forsondrivingschool what classifies as illegal
@@souperiorh anywhere stopping is prohibited…i.e, red routes, double yellow lines, single/double red lines etc.
