HOW TO BE SAVED (How to KNOW you are saved and not just hope you are)
THE BAD NEWS
All men have sinned and are in need of a Savior (Rom 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" ; Rev 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
No man can come to God by his own good works and righteousness. (Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;" THE GOOD NEWS
1 Timothy 1:15 tells us "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."
How does Jesus save a sinner?
From the beginning of the bible to the end, God has only forgiven sins through a BLOOD SACRIFICE, because he is a Holy God he can't forgive sins any other way, Heb 9:22 tells us, "...without shedding of blood is no remission." when Adam sinned, God had to kill a lamb in Adam's place as a substitue, In the Law of Moses, a Blood Sacrifice was demanded for the forgiviness of sins.
Jesus came to die for the sins of the whole world, he came to be OUR Blood Sacrifice, OUR substittue, he came to bear OUR sins on the cross, in OUR place. John 1:29 "...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
What must you do to be saved?
YOU MUST REPENT; You must change from unbelief to belief.
admit you are guilty, that you cannot do anything to save or help save yourself, and that you need Jesus Christ as your savior.
Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done. but according to his mercy he saved us,"
Romans 3:28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."
Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
YOU MUST TRUST; placing your complete faith in what Jesus Christ already did to save you;
John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:."
Salvation comes by believing in WHAT Jesus did for you, 1 Cor. 15:1-4 tells us "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that Christ died for OUR SINS according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
All you have to do to be saved, and on your way to heaven is place your TRUST in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ and nothing else, as sufficient for your salvation, (Rom 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;")
(Propitiation means the act of appeasing wrath, Jesus took your place on the cross.)
Will you accept Jesus Christ as your savior by simple faith, simply trusting in his shed Blood for sufficient to save your soul from hell?
The last sentence is all you must do to be saved, and that is FAITH, not works, TRUSTING in what someone else did for you is the only thing that is not a work.

If you have received Jesus Christ, by faith in his Blood, you now have eternal life and on your way to heaven!
I John 5:11 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."
John 10:27-28 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

@@henriquemeiralins Brother, do not sit at the base of the holy mountain. Ascend it and seek the Lord always in everything and every moment. His grace alone can save us, but we walk with Him like a young fianced woman with her husband to be. We also must take up our crosses and follow our Blessed Lord and eat of His Body and Blood or we have no life in us.
How to be saved is simple. Become baptised and believe in and trust in our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ. And sustain in His grace, until death.
It is when we fall off this path that uncertainty and all complexities come about. Repentence is not a single event, it is the life of the Christian until they leave this mortal coil.

Ephesians 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
Here it says we are sealed with the Holy Spirit after we believe. Not believe and be baptized, not believe and endure to the end.. This passage also refers to something called," the gospel of your salvation" as gospel means good news, let's see what is this good news that saves us! Do you know where is the Gospel of your salvation? I will show you:
1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have RECEIVED, and wherein ye stand;
1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also RECEIVED, how that Christ died GOT OUR SINS according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
There it is, now please pray to the Lord Jesus Christ, so he opens your eyes to the truth, don't be a narrow minded bigot, actually pray that and mean it in your heart. What do you see in this gospel about us doing anything? Does it say me must endure to the end? Or maybe, believe and be baptized? Believe and endure to the end? Believe and do the sacraments? Believe in the church? NO!
all it says we must do, is receive this gospel! How do you receive it? By faith.
By trusting that this gospel, that what Jesus Christ actually did on the cross (dying for your sins, being buried and the ressurection) is sufficient to save you from hell, without you adding anything to it.
Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Please wake up, the catholic church is of the devil, and she will get you to hell if you believe her teachings. There is no official church in the Scriptures that can overrule the Bible as the catholic church teaches.

This open discussion was so beautiful and radiates joy, a wonderful example of what unity amongst Catholics and the church should be. I have a love for Jesus Christ, the church and the hierarchy. Wow! I just found this video. I'm actually from Beaumont but have never met him in person as I live in Europe! Hopefully i will make it over this year!
I wish more Catholic Churches had adoration chapels .. so many just have a hour a week
a week?! i came back from spending years as a missionary in Massachusetts.. so many empty churchs.. so many churches together with just 1 priest.. it's... been dire up there.. but so yea.. adoration was once a month in some places.. but.... God is good.. and things are getting better after the scandals.... God, thru the name of Jesus Christ, will prevail! God Bless.

Great episode. This is very interesting. Now over here in Cologne we have a lot of fierce discussionabout how the bishop is handling reports about sec abuse cases. I wonder whether you have the same problem over in Texas as well? As bad as it is, I think it disctracts people from the real subject, the presence of God.

You laughingly ended with _”Every time the subscribe bell rings, an angel gets its wings.”_ Forgive me for adding, _” … and a soul from Purgatory springs.”_ (With no apology to Johann Tetzel…) Seriously, did that actually rhyme in whatever language Tetzel preached it? Did it sound as corny as it does now? Maybe that’s where _”It’s a Wonderful Life”_ got that expression …
I’m not sure if you have a video on _indulgences,_ but I’m not sure that I, as a lifelong Protestant Christian, know what its ramifications are. I’m especially interested in the _plenary indulgences_ (supposedly?) offered to Crusaders by Pope Urban. The way I have heard it _”explained”,_ it sounds like a _”get/stay out of hell free card”._ Was volunteering for the Crusades an _”automatic ticket to heaven”?_ And I have a related question about about the _"brown scapular"._

There are wonderful bishops! Bishop Strickland comes to mind and so does Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix. But we have some pretty bad bishops too. Cupich comes to mind and Gregory too in DC. The CCHD is a collection the Bishops do once a year and a large percentage go to pro-abortion organizations. Same with Catholic Relief Services. We need our bishops to clean those organizations up to not give to political organizations that pushed and pushed for pro-abortion politicians to win. yes they did this.
So I'm assuming there's an outfit upgrade from Priest to Bishop, right? If you're a diocesan priest you get that bland modern black trousers and shirt with the roman collar. When elevated to the Episcopal office you return back to tradition, 33 button Cassock like the Holy Priests of Christ of the FSSP and you also wear the pectoral bling bling.
I find it easier to distinguish Latin Bishops from eastern bishops, because the orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholics priests all wear pectoral crosses, you can't tell who's who. In the west, only the Bishop wears the pectoral bling, as if fitting for the dignity of a prince of the Holy Church.
Let’s face it, when was the last time, bishops or priests talked about saving souls.....

Yes, what DO they do that resembles the original understanding of Bishops as successors of the apostles? I can count on one hand the number of them who adhere to the Original deposit of faith. I offer to pay for roofing, AC repairs, new vestments, whatever at our parish in lieu of giving to the USCCB, CRS, CCHD, etc. My source of objective truth has actually evolved (pun intended), so there truly IS no objective truth. They always told me that in philosophy class. I guess they win, after all.

Why don’t they try to have more or less the same population for a bishop. Or at least not such a huge disparity. When you have some bishops that have 20 times the population, that’s kind of crazy. Two or three times the population would seem like the most. I wonder if it’s because populations have moved from rule counties to the cities over several generations or what. You could just redraw the lines like they do with the census. I know some people wouldn’t like that because it’s changed or they like their bishop.
