The fact Ariana mentioned she doesn’t know if he’s hurt speaks wonders to how good of a person she is. He hit her and she’s still hoping that he’s okay.
The other driver didn’t stop, so they didn’t get any information about him or the car

Best thing is to invest in dash cams. Ones that do back and front, that way you may be able to get the plate number of other people in crashes.

Front and Back camera's are fine but some states like mine which is Tennessee don't have front plates.

I’m surprised with all their kids that they don’t have them 😂it would be great for safety. I would love one myself as a younger driver and people are truly just crazy on the road but I don’t know what brand or anything. we only need back license plates also so not sure if I want both front and back cameras

If y’all have a “Next Door” app that is active in your area, you might try posting to see if anyone saw the accident. There was a hit-and-run accident in my neighboring town where a motorcycle took off someone’s outside mirror. They posted on this app and amazingly enough, there was a person who saw it, got a photo, and a tag number from their dash cam. In addition, several other people recognized the photo from the dash cam and reported the same motorcycle speeding and running red lights. It’s worth a shot.
We have that here in Louisiana for a few years now. It's great for accident information, lost pets, home services, garage sales, plus many other things!

I’m just so happy Ari is safe and sound! Could have been so much worse. Gotta love hit and runs. The good thing is if you do see him with the damage you can still go after them no matter what the police say! I was hit two years ago and found the guy who never fixed his car, contacted the police and said my paint is still on his car! That was enough for him to be charged. ❤
Scary I saw 2 car collision outside tanglin mall in Singapore so I called ambulance 995 and run to check if people were hurt once paramedic came to see people I was crying

Im glad she is okay! I was in a hit and run 2 years ago. It was scary, my car was totaled and i had injuries. The guy jumped out of his car ran, cussed me out and witness said he came out if nowhere and had a gun on him. He eventually ran right befor cops showed up. Gound out vehicle had been stolen. I had to get a lawyer to file for my uninsured moterist. To cover the medical and other stuff. My car was already covered. I only just now got the settlement check. I want to get a dash cam so I have definitive proof after something happens.
Let me recommend to shop around for a new insurance company for her since it was not her fault it wont be counted against her on that company but will on her current one.
Ari, I’m inspired by how calm and levelheaded you are after the accident! I’d likely be really chill like you and then after dealing with the police and everyone is safe I’d start bawling lol.
Poor Ariana, she's having a rough year! I would advise for Christmas this year you should get all the drivers in the family a dash cam! Then you'd have the license plate and what the vehicle looks like, hardly anyone is calm enough to get the license plate number after they've been in an accident and also they wouldn't be able to say it's not their fault.. (Just getting to that part of the video LOL)..

& praying that Crystals back feels better! I have a spine disease that leaves me in constant pain, so I certainly understand back pain. Moist heat, and gentle stretches after 24 hours of rest can be helpful, as well as always working that core to support our spines. Love you guys! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

What a bummer! Glad Ariana is OK. My son was in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. It was the scariest ordeal. A vehicle can always be replaced, but a life cannot. Stay safe on the road, Ariana! God Bless 🫶🏽
I’m not sure about over there with you but in the UK it’s quite common for younger drivers to get a dash cam installed in their cars. I for one have one in mine and I feel a lot more comfortable knowing it can record incidents such as these and the footage can be passed onto the police if needed!
Edit: I just heard you mention dashcams in the video! I really do recommend them
omg, that is so upsetting, I hope you're okay, and the fact that you're also worried about the other driver shows you have the most caring heart, I take my hat you Lil Ari', sucks about the insurance side of things but hey at least you're still here on this side of Earth with us.
Honestly if you haven’t already I recommend getting dash cams for all the cars just in case to catch the license plate, I’m glad she’s not hurt or anything
What a scary experience 😳 so glad Arianna is ok though. I had similar damage across both doors on the rights side, and it ended up being cheaper to replace the doors with used doors from another car than fixing it. You just have to get the exact right model & colour. Good luck and Crystal all the best with your back.
Bruh there family been in soo many car accidents tho like if there really that bad at driving they shouldn’t be the f on the road lol

I really enjoy your channel! I worked in body shop management many years. Don't be distressed if GEICO figures used doors, that is a common insurance practice. A good shop will take the glass & hardware out of your doors & reuse any of it not damaged. After the used doors are refinished your parts are reinstalled in them. The used doors come with the complete insides so if any of those parts are needed the used doors will have them. New doors are are actually just the metal shells without glass & hardware. Used is often referred to as "like kind & quality (LKQ.) I hope this helps. Again I enjoy your family so much!
Glad ari is ok! $5000 is actually very reasonable I’d say cheap in this market! I had something similar years ago and it was far less damage and it was over 5k. My husband works at a car dealership and having to wait 6 weeks to get it fixed is not crazy and especially if you want new parts you could be waiting twice that long just for parts to come in if not much longer! If you trust this guy (not easy to find) have him order the parts and get a spot for repair. You don’t want to save $1000 and it cost you far more in the long run when her car is not fixed correctly!
We should remember… not to expect everyone to be as conscientious and kind as your family. The driver probably doesn’t care one bit. You look after each other. Much love x

Ariana you were very calm at a traumatic time, it must of been very scary. There are a lot of people that would go into a complete panic. Crystal and Hannah you have always solved problems well together working out how to get to Ariana and to tell her to call the police. My parents used to say that I was a very good driver and they weren't worried about my driving but that you can never trust other drivers so be aware at all times. Xx
I love that she cares about the person who is at fault. Just a great character trait to have. Love to see this side of crystal with the dogs in bed, to bad it was because you were in pain.
We had a hit an run accident happen to us. We now have Garmin dash cams in the cars. I can't tell you how many times we had to pull footage off of it to give to other people who needed it, and it helped prove to an insurance company that their insured hit my car when the girls dad called me a liar that I hit them. I recommend getting them in all the cars. That way the kids would be protected if that happens again.
i just became a trucker we're currently working on getting our first truck but once we get it and do everything we needa do we're buying a dash cam for it as well for our personal vehicle once we get one so i highly recommend a dash cam for y'all's cars they help out a lot from what I've seen and been told

It's so crazy last yr today !!!! Me my three kids got into a hot n run around 7:30 pm . My car was drivable but it cost 18.000 n change to repair they totaled it the frame was shot.. n your words n your reaction to the fact that your daughter was hit n run n expressing your pain about it made me realize it ain't my fault I had the car 2 days first car I ever bought smh brand new 2022 Mitsubishi outlander now today I won't go anywhere the point I'm thankful all is okay but her struggle helped me with mine n how I have been feeling thank you so much for your videos I'm inspired by your family cause I spent some of my life in foster care ty for what you do
It's hard to avoid accident's, that's why it's called an accident so it's always good to have a dash cam, recording. Glad everything is okay.

Btw you can phone nearby wreckers and ask for specific parts like the 2 doors for your make model and colour. You may find just replacing both doors is enough for now.

Ariana, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can get your car fixed soon. This summer, in June I had a vehicle back into me and just got it fixed first of October. At that time my insurance company said lots of body shops were backed up.
Aww i'm glad ariana is okay. I would invest in a dashcam similar thing happened to me and the driver tried to sue me for stress when he hit me and it was my first year of driving 💀💀 Luckily i had a dashcam and i had to upload it on youtube for insurance and i ended up winning the case but it took a year to resolve. I'm glad your safe and remember it was not your fault some people don't realise impatience costs lives. ❤❤

Getting dash cams sure sounds like a good idea! I live outside of a city, in a very calm area and I rarely go anywhere with much traffic, but if I lived in a big city, I think I would get a dash cam too if I could afford it. It really, really sucks that you guys have to pay for getting the car fixed in this situation!
Glad Ariana is okay. The insurance shouldn’t go up if it wasn’t her fault. I would go through insurance, if they raise it, shop around for a cheaper insurance.

Double check with the insurance. I know my premium didn’t go up after they did a hit and run in my work parking lot. They covered the damage & I only had to pay my deductible & rental car.

A female driving alone is sometimes targeted by cars working in groups. There are things that can be done to make vehicles with a single female driver a less appealing target. It might be worth looking up ways to avoid organized road crime. So glad she's okay!

I’m glad she’s okay! Her insurance should not go up since it’s not an at fault accident. The system will note that. Also, if you guys don’t have “uninsured/underinsured” on your policy, I recommend adding that so your insurance 100% covers these types of accidents or if someone vandalizes it! I used to work for Statefarm and know that all insurances offer this.
Not true. I was in a hit and run and my insurance went up because my insurance had to pay for the damages.
@@c_5399 you should talk to the underwriters or consult a lawyer. It is legally forbidden for an insurance company to raise your rate SOLELY for an accident that you were not at fault for. For Arizona where Ariana lives, this is the code stating this is legally forbidden : Ariz. Rev. Stat. 20-263.

Dashcams are always a great choice. My dad and uncle have both gotten into accidents, thankfully not bad accidents, and its always been the other driver's fault. They used their dashcams to find license plates and they got their justice. Something to keep in mind. Glad Ariana's okay, hopefully things work out in her favor.

passenger of a vehicle got out- at the roundabout we were stopped at- and started walking towards us. I pulled out, as soon
as it was safe, and drove past him. As I did, there was an almighty
thud on the side of the car. We didn't want to stop so checked
when we arrived home. There were two big dents on the driver's
side door. I think they threw beer bottles or cans at us. The dents
are still there. It wasn't worth fixing them. They're covered by a
large magnet a advertising my business.

Aaron you can get dash cams that have an extra camera for the rear of the car I’m not sure if this would of helped Ariana’s situation but might be worth spending that little extra and getting front and rear cameras so idiots like that one have less chance of avoiding the cameras. Be careful using a shop that is not busy this time of year. We used to own a shop and this is a very busy time for GOOD shops. Also, talk to your insurance agent, because this was a hit an run, it might not increase your insurance. Glad Ariana is ok and very grown up!!!
