What a fascinating video! We've come so far as a species - VR & AR can provide so many amazing experiences. It's wonderful to see VR really starting to grow now - and it'll only get better as time goes on. Behemoth and Aliens Rogue Incursion this month show how good the medium can be if talented developers are given enough time and resources. But even outside of gaming VR / AR still has so much untapped potential!
Its is absolutely unbelievable for the 60s, what a true visionary! At that time many electronic engineers were still just getting used to transistors instead of vacuum tubes. Simple integrated circuits were still cutting edge NASA technology. And this man was doing 3D computer graphics, CAD and VR! Absolutely amazing!

Awesome!
That was fascinating! Thank you! I love information like this. This tech existed way back when and no one other than the dev realized its potential!
I had no idea. Very cool and interesting video.
Awesome video. Honestly.
Wow, that's absolutely incredible for the 60s! Great content, thanks for creating 😻
Have you seen Doug Engelbart's "Mother Of All Demos"?

Great video! so much info I did not know at all, thanks.
Sutherland accomplished more in his lifetime than I could have hoped, in one year of mine... I'm happy & sad all at the same time
Bro invented the Holodeck
Was he born before his time, or is he the reason computer graphics took the path they did?
The latter, though his influence is more on user interfaces than the graphics themselves.
Nothing is ever before it's time. Often technologies take decades to propagate out into everyday living
I am assuming everybody knows what the actual sword of Damocles is...
Is this the inventor of the Apple vision pro but pre edition? )
Title seems interesting, but video will not play.
