This is a Classic song composed and performed by Goa's Melody King - Alfred Rose. This version has been performed by his son Engelbert Rose. It's a song about the tradition of having the previous evenings curry "Kalchi Kodi" which was made in a clay pot which gives it a typical Goan flavour.
It was and is a common tradition at every Goan home and Kalchi Kodi is eaten at breakfast time, served with hot pao (Goan bread). It is also eaten with kanji, or at lunch time, with steamed rice. Another delicious combo is kalchi kodi with egg. !
