I agree he needs help, and I do believe CTE had a major effect on his recent actions BUT he was a jerkoff long before these events transpired. The court mandated a psych hold, so now he has no choice but to enter the system. It's possible though his agents, lawyers, loved ones, etc all did their best to try and get him the help he needs. There comes a time, when nothing else seems to work, when you can't do anything but "turn your back on them" even though you really didn't turn your back. We don't know whether or not that happened, but my point is that it's certainly possible AB just didn't listen, and there's nothing anyone can do at that point. AB needs to take some responsibility here, and he's gotta accept help and actually want to change. Personally, I don't wish this on anybody, and while I do question his character, I certainly don't have any ill will towards the man, and I hope for his family's sake, he gets the help he do desperately needs before this turns tragic. I'm rooting for him, but ultimately this is on AB.

@@user-nd7xu8sb7p I think it was. Ever since Burfict, AB had changed. He became too humble and too modest. As a Steelers fan who followed him and the news constantly, it was not that big of a deal. You can see how no one addressing his change caused him to actually believe that he can act however he wanted. AB started making bad decisions because he believed he was this type of person that everyone had to love. So he ended up doing the Facebook live, not showing up for practices, beefing with Ben and the team, etc. It's a combination of people not really caring for him and the concussions affecting his decision making that really put him into this situation

I have never and will never know AB personally, but from the outside looking in, I have no doubt this man has CTE. He needs help
