Hi Rich, I have a chance to look at a '69 L5 CES today and I'm super excited about it but I'm concerned about the 1 9/16 nut:
Does the narrowness of a 1 9/16 nut affect your playing in any way?
Do you tend to avoid the first position?
The '68 sounds deep round and full and your playing seems effortless.
