It's really the best album outro I've pretty much ever heard in my life. In LOVE 1 he experimented with this formula but on this album he nailed it and perfected it and gave me everything I wish happened in the LOVE 1 ending and more!

Me and my friends have been listening to AVA since their inception, I'll never forget the first time we heard this song. Sitting in a car at night completely stoned out of our mind. When the song came on it gripped us with the piano and Tom's lyrics. We knew we were in for a ceremonial experience. The build up to the exploding guitars sent us into outer space on an intergalactic psychedelic jounrey. We laughed and cried as our consciousnesses were shuttled into the unknown. When the song ended we looked at each other in awe knowing we just had the same experience..
Tom wrote this solo with technology stolen from a crashed ufo. Seriously though, bravo! I downloaded this album and after this song, I put on repeat. It played the the rest of day while I worked. Thank you for inspiration and helping my ascension
I watched them live in Manchester, UK in 2012. We drove all the way from London to watch them. We were a little late to get there. My mate who drove us there had to park in a towing area. We knew we will get booked. But we didn't care. AvA played this as their last song in their set. We didn't move from our place. We stayed till the end. We later found out we were fined £140. Well, it was worth it.
I close my eyes during the solo and imagine my soul flying through space seeing all my loved ones there smiling at me and me looking back in awe as I embrace all their love. It empowers me to keep flying. I feel like this is what life is all about, Love is the answer and is what keeps us going,
I am in a very dark period of my life right now and I discovered AVA a few months ago. I want to kill myself every night but their songs help me see the light, this song in particular makes me feel like I am travelling through space and all problems and stress are being ripped away from me like leeches, it makes me feel like there is something more to life other than work and drama and it showed me all the beauty there is in this world. Thanks to them I no longer view death as an escape from pain but as a way to ensure I will not see all that life has to offer and I am not leaving until I see all they have thaught me about. I am going to tattoo the AVA logo on my chest next to my heart. I'll never forget this band for how much their music helped me these past few months, I'll be forever grateful. Now i'm not religious by any means, But i am convinced that what I experienced that night was...something. I won't say the whole thing here but, In the dream I was in some kind of classroom in a school that sat on a beautiful green marsh land. I was working on a project involving the solar system, then suddenly the floor and walls dropped away, and I was soaring through space with this song playing. I was pulled to some planet overlooking our entire milky way galaxy. As I stood there, this 'mist' walked towards me, placed what I interpreted as it's hand on my shoulder, and through telepathy it told me "It's all okay. your burdens, your trials and tribulations, It's all okay in the end. your stories will continue to be told throughout the cosmos until the end of time through your radiowaves. Civilizations will know, there is where humanity resided and there is where these wondrous human beings flourished and overcame adversity. Life is everlasting. I remember every detail, every sight, and that is what makes me feel all the more that it was some kind of spiritual experience. And angels and airwaves was the soundtrack.
In Tom DeLonge's "Pursuit of Tone" documentary he mentioned how, every once in a while, he will work on a song that gives him chills and he just knows that the song he's working on is going to be "big". And he didn't mean it in a egotistical sort of way, or anything like that. He just knew it was going to be important in some way. And I literally wanted to ask him if he had received that sensation when he wrote / constructed / produced this song. Because this is honestly one of the most powerful AVA songs produced, hands down. Your comment makes me believe that it was, indeed, one of those songs that Tom received such sensations. What an inspiring story / experience. Somebody needs to get this comment to Tom for him to read it -- I bet it would bring tears to his eyes to know that a song of his played part in such a experience.
