It’s almost like Blink was Tom’s childhood and adolescence and AVA is him in adulthood with new friends and life experiences. Blink is like College and HS memories, we hold them with nostalgia but AVA is our life in the present.

The world treats Tom like a joke. Like have you not listened to this man's songs? It's like a level above music. It's universal and holds so much power that when it grabs you it doesn't ever let go. He is here, the voice inside your yead. Most underrated artist ever.

Tom’s guitar tone (the echo/delay) is freaking amazing. I’ve seen AVA once live and you can feel that guitar tone in your chest in the best way possible

Tom has been with me throughout my adolescent to college. His music literally the soundtrack of my life, I thank him for that. I sometimes coming back to this particular song and just crying my heart out and contemplating about life.
This song makes me reborn . There was Blink but I remember when AVA came came out in 07 their sound forever changed my life
I once had a really good brother from another country. We used to chat on steam for more than three years until he got married, then he got a job, a new apartment and had no time to be online and chat with me. He sadly replied once a week or two weeks and this really made me sad. He was driving the highway in 40 degrees heat blasting this song in his car and sending me a clip of it. I still have the clip but no longer my brother. Our bond is still strong. If you read this, I miss you and I wish you a happy wonderful life my lovely brother

I remember watching The Adventure music video on MTV back in 2006 and always thought these dudes Space rock sound was amazing. Back on 2009 I downloaded all the albums they had . But Heaven by far is the best track AVA put together. This Song makes me homesick for a place that doesn’t even exist.

This brings me back to nearly a decade ago at age 14. I'm laying on my bed listening to this album with the sun coming through the window and washing over me. I've lost track of how many pills I've taken and am just letting the music take me away as I drift into what I thought would be an endless sleep. Obviously I woke up though and I'm so happy I did. It is crazy how things change with time.

I’ve been alive for 19 years. This album was the first music I was exposed to. I remember listening to it in the car with my parents all the time. This has always been my favorite song on the album. I’ve listened to a lot of music in my life, but nothing will ever top this song and it will always be my favorite.
No Tom is above them. His songs speak of good. One of the greatest musicians of this time.

While this is certainly amazing, I'd argue blinks untitled album still holds up as Tom, Mark and Travis' magnum opus. My opinion anyway!
This isn't even better than much on Neighborhoods or Dogs Eating Dogs, never mind their true masterpieces Self Titled and Enema of the State.

Somehow I only just recently discovered AVA. This is one of my all time favorite songs. All my other favorite songs are either TD or AVA.

The year? 2010, I was utterly physically and mentally exhausted from moving to California chasing my dreams for 7 years and coming up short time and time again. I woke up one day (in Los Angeles) and made the decision to head back home. This was the last song I heard as I left California. Perfect way to cap that experience and time of my life off. No regrets, I did everything I could do. God had other plans. Went back to school, and in the last 10 years I worked and got my AAS, BS, MA, and Law Degree. This song will forever be apart of my life.
