Great Table talk as normal Jason. I have heard of the German Carrier and knew she was at the bottom of the Baltic (but wasn't sure where) and look forward to seeing your First Impressions vid. Like you, my planned builds have been all over the place as originally it was meant to be my year of doing ship kits but has so far turned into mainly a year of group builds, so far 6 projects done one almost over the line as we speak and a couple to be started. Great table talk Jason really look forward to Saturday morning. I came in really late last night to the scharnhorst so I will replay it later but it is looking great sat beside you. I'm hoping to get back on the bench next week (bureau in the conservatory 😂) get back on the titanic. All the best great stuff 👍
Love your ship and boat distinction, but, my biggest annoyance is when builders on many sites call a warships boats, Lifeboats! The boats on a warship, are for many different jobs, but when one sinks, it's boats are seldom able to be used, and are not considered to be Lifeboats! By the way, so happy Scharnhorst is back, and looks great!

Hi Jason, great talk. Good to see you feel better! Graf Zeppelin will be a great project to build, very nice ship. In terms of operations Kriegsmarine would use it most likely against convoys to Russia? In combination with Tirpitz and Scharnhorst it would be a formidable force I imagine. In terms of future builds I would love to see this Spit in 1:24, but atm waiting for Tempo, I might build mine along. Have a great weekend, all the best. Dom

Well as I said there are 5+ characteristics of a ship, most ferry would be considered a boat but larger ones can blur the line, Subs also blur the line, but less so

Aren't submarines always referred to as boats? A cross chanel ferry ship could not carry a Polaris Sub.
