One of the best Chinese dishes I ever ate. Your presentation make the dish beautiful. After blanching the pork, I would have pricked the skin side with a fork.
This is one of my favourite hakka dishes. Thank you for sharing as I would like to make it myself.
I like the way how you prepare the dish. It's simple, hassle-free and requiring just the essential ingredients which are easily available in any Chinese kitchens. The outcome is also awesome!
Thanks you, Mich!
Looks good. My family recipe is a lot more complicated and we make it every Chinese New Year
yeah, there is a few method of making it and this is how my family does it.

Hi Ethan I'm going to try it..but what do i look for when buying the vegetable at the Asian store? What is it called ?
Hey, this is called “Mei Cai”, there is three types;
- dried
- salted
- sweet
You will need the salted one, they are covered with salt.
