    4g heads are great. We went 7.80 at 180 with an untouched 1g head. Just springs, retainers, and cams.

    Good video, very informative!

    the car actually made 983hp on 44psi , it had a small boost leak therefore we couldn’t increase the boost but according to the date we picked up on that dyno section the car is capable of making around 1200hp on the same set up , turbo , fuel etc by only increasing the boost

    @ Mr head games - what oil did Pedro use in his car any idea??

    you recommend up to 900whp on a 4 cyl stock valve size.. ques .. if you use over size valves say for a 800whp build.. would you be at any disadvantage under utilizing the over size valve? like torque response, later spool etc

    • @headgames
      @headgames  Год назад +1

      We actually don't recommend oversized valve at all really. We have set world records, made 1800whp on stock size valves. With 800whp you will just make the car lazy because you are killing all the low lift flow. Sometimes you might see a tiny bit of peak power advantage on the oversized but the stock size valve will make more area under the curve. Area under the curve is what makes it fun to drive, or win races.

    Hello! Great video 👍 Do you ever use Ampco 45/beryllium valve seats to your build? Is it necessary for about 900-1000 awhp on E85?

    • @headgames
      @headgames  Год назад

      Ampco is not beryllium. We don’t usually use either. We do copper bronze or nickel bronze.
      As far as needing them, we make double the power your trying to make on stock seats in many applications on stock size valves.

      @@headgames Okey, thanks 👌 So then I can keep my stock seats. I've heard from a few guys that their stock seats began to "sink" and the valves was leaking, after just some pulls in the dyno, he was using methanol as fuel and make 1300 hp. Therefore I was confused about my own head 😉🙂

      @headgames  Год назад

      @@marcusadolfsson3853 That sounds like your friend is using the wrong valve spring or the right spring is installed wrong and the head is going into valve float. Seats won't sink for no reason. They get beat into the head. Or the 45 degree angle of the seat gets beat into the valve during valve float. But it is almost never a material issue.

      @@headgames Okey, you guys know what you are talking about so I trust you to 100% 👌 I have Kiggly high pressure beehive springs at around 97 lbs and Ferrea comp plus valves, and boost pressure around 43-48 Psi.

      Okay. Can you be more specific? Because maybe you seen someone else’s work. I’ve seen stuff that was from “HeadGames” too and it looked like Stevie Wonder was in there.
      I don’t think anyone could look at our work, and be so upset about it that they had to go through the effort of trying to slander the name on RUclips. I’m confident that we turn a great product. And you can’t see assemblies and what goes into them measuring wise being a novice.

    • @kracsi

      @@headgames cleanliness is piss poor. I can see Stevie wonder doing the polishing and grinding on it, since the oil ports look like someone smashed them in so that small pieces can break off and ruin cams. Shall we keep going. Work is trash looks like some high schooler did it. I don’t slander but shit is unacceptable

    • @headgames

      Yeah that’s what I’m looking for - some details on what sucks! An industry leader and expert such as yourself who is going through this effort to voice your opinions matters to us! What you said makes me feel so much better. You are definitely not talking about a real HeadGames head. We cnc the heads, very rarely is it hand ported and sanded these days. The stuff that is done by hand I will 100% put it against anyone in the industry. I’m not saying it’s the best but it’s definitely one of the top. Go look at our work on the gram.
      We have over 70k in cleaning machines. Heads are super clean. And no clue what you mean by oil ports. Only person who has ever said that was that idiot Dave Butcher. And it literally makes no sense.
      Anyway thanks for your candor, and clearing that up. Much appreciated!
