So please don’t generalize if you didn’t have the opportunity to see enough hardworking Saudis during your stay in the kingdom. I know a lot of friends who run their own restaurants and cafes and are also very respectful of their employees regardless of their nationalities.

The youth of Saudi Arabia think that "work" means being a "manager" who gets an office at some company and occasionally has to show up to work, yell at some low-level expats from Bangladesh and then have a tea-boy make tea for him and his friends while they congratulate each other on how important each of them is. Almost no Saudis actually work as we know it. I spent a year there trying to teach them electrical control engineering.
Well you cant say all people are like that first of all, second, I myself spent 2 years in the US helping my friends who study nuclear engineer the basics of calculus II based on my knowledge from High school, does that make all US education system worse than Saudi? my point is do not generalize based on your narrowed experience. We are changing Mr.Robert towards the best, and we are hope to have you again to prove that.

bader: You seem to think that my experience was narrow and yet, I attended several SSS meetings where all the colleges in KSA consulted on this very problem of motivating students to attend classes, studying in their field and getting jobs in their field and actually doing the physical work. Every single college faced the same problems: Saudis don't believe in actual work and just think that they should be "managers" over expatriate workers from poor nations. They all want to be a prince with slaves working for them as it used to be before 1961 when slavery was finally abolished.

However, there are many Saudis who work so hard and respect those less fortunate individuals from other nationalities. I am a young Saudi in my mid twenties, I didn’t have everything on a silver platter. I had been working so hard to be where I am today. I graduated from college with first honor while working a part time job. Spent a year looking for a job in academia and also making a lot of money as a photographer . A year later I got the job of my dream and I’m currently teaching Applied Linguistics at a university as well as preparing to do my M.A. abroad.
So please don’t generalize if you didn’t have the opportunity to see enough hardworking Saudis during your stay in the kingdom. I know a lot of friends who run their own restaurants and cafes and are also very respectful of their employees regardless of their nationalities.
