- Thanks all for tuning in again, I had a lot of fun making this one testing out the new Lambchopper guitar. Just about all the guitar layers and parts in this were recorded using it. I'm yet to test different pickups through it for tones but I'm impressed this far.
feel free to follow on Facebook and have a great day.
/ lambchopper678
Recorded using Amplitube Custom Shop, Garageband and Adobe Premiere CS6. Happy to share presets and feel free to contact me on Lambchopper678@me.com with any questions at all.
Have a great day Видеоклипы
Must be cool to wake up and just know you are a total badass.
CLOS Best comment I have seen this week :D
Have some years of training and you'll definitely wake up the same
All hard work believe me
I was gonna leave a like to your comment but then I realized you had 666 likes and so I left it like it was
I like you D
U play so calm and composed that it seems like a monk is playing guitar
A badass monk
Doesn't get much more perfect than that folks, well done mate!
+Koroar thanks mate
ruclips.net/video/Y_PbY_yZRqA/видео.html Hey knowing you enjoyed that do you mind watching my version. The only difference is I record all parts in real time on video. No tricks. I just wanted to check with a random fan of the song and see if decent or not.
AGREED
Yes it was very good but the intro had some noticeable missing hammerons. I’ve heard the song so many times that it really made it sound weird. But other than that I really loved this cover
@@goldenarch3239 yeah I noticed too I thought it was off on the intro, but it was great all together for sure.
Now, that's what I call a clean cover!
Seriously, it sounded so clean!
I don't understand all the circle jerking. This sons is super easy.
Jorda n I found you again
The tone (the clean one especially) sound so damn close to the original song it gives me chills! You seriously nailed this cover man! Good job!
Uh... the original recording has an acoustic for the clean tone?
@@ebwieg6800 who cares bruh, it still sounds really close especially since it's not an acoustic
on repeat
At the end the video faded to black ;)
MrBusta but except the Metallica logo 😎
This is how every proper guitar cover should be, no backing track and clean playing with the exact right tone, love it!
And no singing, people ruin it when they try to sing with it
Has a badass beard, can play guitar like a god, will you be my dad?
Payter Tater Yeah I love the beard!
i wish I had a dad that can play guitar. Wouldn't it be cool to learn from him as a kid and have a son/daughter jam session with dad. Lol.
feels bad man.
I hope your not too late, because it's never too early to learn together.
James Scott you should have educated her since she was little
Now that was flawless!!! Very nice playing. I stand and applaud you sir..
Thanks man
Me too
👍🏻15k people rock!!
182 of you, fade to black!🤘🏻
Wow... Just wanna say you would make Metallica proud. .. Nuff said...
Favorite metallica song of all time. Just the mood and the transitions and the solos are just mind blowing
Having this song with just guitar really makes me appreciate the beauty of it.
Its perfect for bass players and drummers who’ll jam together
For the longest time I always thought Kirk played that little lead fill from 4:21 - 4:35, turns out it was James all along. I've tried to find a video where the camera focuses on James during that whole section so I could get the correct notes but every video is either showing James' face, or showing Kirk playing.
What you play sounds really great, but James definitely plays it on the lower frets. I fucking love that part though, it's little things like that that make Metallica so great. And speaking of Metallica, they were the first real heavy band I started listening to. Once I started searching for guitar covers, your videos always came up. Then about a year ago I started getting into Lamb of God and searching for guitar covers and I see your videos again... great taste in music! Kind of rambling, just wanted to tell you to keep doing what you do, cheers!
AFXAcid i also love that harmony, sounds beautiful
no, it's James man, watch the Record Day 2016 performance of this song, you'll see
Yah, I assumed Kirk played that, too, but James definitely has some lead guitar skills. As I recall, he plays that blazing solo at the end of "Orion" and of course that awesome solo in "Nothing Else Matters."
There's no James' guitar solo in Orion, only 2 Kirk solos and 1 Cliff solo, which was supposed to be an extension of Kirk's second solo
Actually, I read it right in the album liner notes. It surprised me, but that's what it said.
When I first heard those guitars come crunching in at the first chorus, I melted. Absolute goosebumps and energy
Waited for a single wrong note and everything is just perfect well done man.
I don't understand all the circle jerking. This sons is super easy.
Jorda n that’s number 4
One of the best cover and Beard 😎✌🏻️
Cleanest, most amazing Fade to Black cover I have ever watched!
@Conor O'Brien I used Amplitube 3 or Custom Shop for everything. If you have the software I'm happy to send the presets I used
Lambchopper678@me.com
+LambChopper678 I have a scarlett solo, ableton live, a few adobe products and a camcorder but I don't know where to get all those vst things to make mine sound like that. I've been just playing around with the built in amps on ableton so far. Could you direct me please?
I'd definitely go and have a look at the ikmultimedia website. I'm not familiar with any of the gear you spoke about sorry. I know that Amplitube and Positive Grid's Bias (desktop) is fantastic.
LambChopper678 skkjjoo
Email him yo, his address right there
You made this guitar?
Anyone else start spacing out listening to this song due to the lack of lyrics??? Epic performance my man!!
I’ve been learning a bunch of this song recently myself so I really enjoyed seeing all the different parts and the other guitar side parts
That skull that's on your shirt I have tattooed on my left shoulder. Live $hit Binge & Purge! Bought the box set when I was 15. Still have it.
man, this has always been my favorite Metallica song and yet I feel amazed every time I hear the guitars separately.
Well I'm speechless
This is absolutely fantastic. I love this song and this version is something unordinary and absorbing.
Your timing and control is the best I have ever seen. Great job!
That’s some nice sounding guitars man. Great job!
who would give this video a thumbs down? WTF, you killed it bro, nice work!
This is just so beautiful.. I loved every second of it. You did an amazing job!!
So clean. Awesome!!!
absolutely perfect cover! Love it! Fantastic job man, serious skills!!
Magnificent job mate !! Probably the best cover of the song there is :)
Real tear jerker, perfect cover
I love the “fade to black” at the end...nice touch!
Scott Ian playing Metallica!!!! Love your videos. Cheers from Brazil.
Hey brother, been watching your Megadeth and Metallica covers and they are fantastic. Keep it up
Badass and beautiful at the same time...I could listen to this all day long.
Absolutely amazing
that slide around 5:25 is different from the original... not sure if by mistake or on purpose but this little detail sounds so fucking amazing.
Nice man! beard looks sick too! :D
so beauty solos and riffs!
That was absolutely amazing!!!!
Great cover, thank you so much for doing my request (i feel so special now haha) me n my mates are gonna be playing this at the end of the year at our schools presentation night :D
Wow, damn ur talented. And cool. This is really good.
Your tone is awesome man. Flawless!!!
Simply the greatest cover of this, anywhere. LC, you are phenomenal. I never tire of your skill.
Thank you for this
Wait, he's 37, right? How does he have a grey beard?
It's the price you pay to have metal in your veins
My dad was completely grey by the time he was 40. Now his hair and mustache are completely white
I thought it's a bonus
im 23 and have a couple gray hairs here and their lol, not noticeable unless i point them out though
I'll take grey over bald any day.
awesome playing and tone is spot on. you a genius.
Literally gave me goosebumps! Especially when the end solo kicks in aahhh
That solo is unbelievable. Just think of all the times he must have practiced to learn such a hard solo.
Chris DiLanno it was an excellent cover but that solo really isn't that hard lol
There are some tricky parts but it really isn't that hard, I was actually very surprised at how easy it was when I learned, I thought it would take months.
I was going to subscribe, but then I realized I already was a subscriber... beautiful tone btw, sounds very RTL...
Brah, you are effing hectic and always on point. Mind = Blown.
This has to be ONE OF THE BEST Cover of yours!!!! Great tone supperb performance, sir!!!!!
Wow man! Amazing! I'd love if you did "Liar" and "Poison was the cure" by Megadeth!
Yeah man, also would like to hear something "Kick the Chair".
and Mary Jane
bvc11111 i agree i love rick james
He would need the obligatory cocaine for pwtc
Your amazing, I’m learning the song myself but I’m not that good
Wow, that was amazing!! This has been my favorite Metallica song for over 20 years now and I've been playing the intro and distorted rhythm parts on guitar, but I'm not really advanced enough for the lead parts yet. You really did it justice and have inspired me to keep at it. Well done!!
Absolutely fantastic & note perfect.
2 huge thumbs up 👍👍
This is the best guitar cover I've ever seen! Phenomenal!!! Just amazing! I'm speechless! How long have you been playing?
+Wynter Schroeder he has been playing for about 20 years.
+Lio Nik Wow! He's great! Thanks!
Wynter Schroeder Check out his Testament Rise up cover especially on the solo.. it's nuts
+Lio Nik could you send me the link?
Make me.
Is that a Randall RG80 in the background? Loved that amp!
Flawless, effortless play!!
Great video mate, loved every second of it 👍🏻🎸
Hit The Ligths, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kirk would be proud
just love the tone of the first solo
thank you for such an awesome display of talent
Where did you get that Lambchopper Guitar? Fucking Incredible!
How do you get these guitars in sync ? i mean without drums or metronome.
the song gets stuck in your head once youve listened to it like x1000 times
He use headphones
He played along to the actual song.
@devrim when recording guitar parts you can play a long to a metronome, backing track or song, and when you've finished recording you can remove the metronome/backing track/song so you have only your recorded guitar parts
He records this then edits it together.
Perfection! Just awsome!
Love all your fill ends in all your songs on Metallica it's what make it sound right and epic. Most youtubers dont even do it.
He s serj tankian
Tommaso Fu but... wait... does he even play guitar
HES A FUCKING SINGER
SYSTEM OF A DOWN
@@strum.drum.dash.9426 I'm pretty positive he does play guitar. Go look at his RUclips channel. This guy does kinda look like him tho
@@strum.drum.dash.9426 he plays guitar
Also the title says no backing track but I think I hear a bass playing?
austin cutty i think he meant no vocals or drums bass is kind of the backbone to most songs it just wouldnt sound the same without it
+Terror Regime I might be wrong but I'm 90% sure he played the bass part himself too. So the 'no backing track' part is also referring to it only being him playing, not playing on top of anyone else's work.
+austin cutty there is this pedal that does a bass sound behind your guitar when you are playing. I tried one before and it actually sounds like someone else is playing bass
+PR Guitar and Cubing def. not a bass pedal. Bass sounds like Cliff's master track.
ZackerTheScar sorry for diggin out after year, but you are right, it sounds like Cliff's track
This is awesome. I can’t get the solo down and watching this really helped me get the proper pace down, thank you!
So far this is the best and most accurate Fade to black guitar cover that I’ve heard.
Ballz without the backing track....Salute
Is that a custom guitar or did you just find one that said ''Lamb'' on it?
ikr that was what I was thinking
It's custom. I'm pretty sure he was interested in starting up his own guitar company, but it was too much work. I think the Lamb guitar was a prototype. Not quite sure, someone else may be able to correct me if I'm wrong.
that was pretty awesome. just loved it (thumbs up man)
Absolutely brilliant! And beautiful, without the backing tracks. You are playing with a perfect guitar technic and with a lot of feeling. Keep rocking man!
The tone is so nice and thick it's almost
Milky like milky bar chocolate
This makes me want to put down my guitar down and never pick it back up..
Brad Pendleton That's not my intention man, it's meant to do the opposite. I'm sorry
Why?
LambChopper678 No kidding. This just makes me want to practice more. This gives me something to aspire to. I just hope it doesn't take me 22 years to get that good. lol.
Saimeren I twon't I see myself being this good in the next 2 years. (I started in Jan 1 2015, Practice 5-12 hr/day, depending If I work or not.)
Saimeren well I can play the whole song, not as clean as he did but good enough and back when I learnt it I was playing for 1.5 year so it's not that hard I guess, go watch this guy's ashes of the wake cover... that's some harder shit
keep making such a badass cover sir huge freaking respect
Outstanding. !! Always such a fun song to play as well we used to play it 4 or 5 times in a row back in the day just because we loved it so much. You make it look so much easier too. !!
wait.. i hear bass. is that supposed to be cliff? otherwise, great playing!
Knight Gash That is cliff
So badass dude, I love this cover
Awesome, beautiful sound and played very authentic. Thanks for sharing.
Holy shi.. Super! Again, perfect tone too.
Lovely looking/sounding LambChopper there!
sweet geezus, that was awesome, you are a shred king
Dang brother the lamb guitar sounds great!! I'm impressed with the tone!!! Beautiful playing as always bro!!
Absolutely sweet!
That was dope!!!!!! Very well done!!!
Wow! Best cover of this song i've ever seen, and without backing tracks... Amazing
I'm so satisfied with this Cover. Keep up the good Covers
LambChopper678.
So happy I saw them play this live. I’ll never forget that night. When they were done, James said “ I don’t like that song. I LOVE that song”
That was so awesome. Those solo's were so well done.👍🏽
Sounds incredible great job
Awesome playing duuuuude I loved it
Nice tone and very clean playing, cool!
Presently recovering jaw from the floor. Bloody well done, LambChopper!
