  • Thanks all for tuning in again, I had a lot of fun making this one testing out the new Lambchopper guitar. Just about all the guitar layers and parts in this were recorded using it. I'm yet to test different pickups through it for tones but I'm impressed this far.
    feel free to follow on Facebook and have a great day.
    / lambchopper678
    Recorded using Amplitube Custom Shop, Garageband and Adobe Premiere CS6. Happy to share presets and feel free to contact me on Lambchopper678@me.com with any questions at all.
    Have a great day

    For the longest time I always thought Kirk played that little lead fill from 4:21 - 4:35, turns out it was James all along. I've tried to find a video where the camera focuses on James during that whole section so I could get the correct notes but every video is either showing James' face, or showing Kirk playing.
    What you play sounds really great, but James definitely plays it on the lower frets. I fucking love that part though, it's little things like that that make Metallica so great. And speaking of Metallica, they were the first real heavy band I started listening to. Once I started searching for guitar covers, your videos always came up. Then about a year ago I started getting into Lamb of God and searching for guitar covers and I see your videos again... great taste in music! Kind of rambling, just wanted to tell you to keep doing what you do, cheers!

    • @jasonfella265
      @jasonfella265 6 лет назад +5

      Yah, I assumed Kirk played that, too, but James definitely has some lead guitar skills. As I recall, he plays that blazing solo at the end of "Orion" and of course that awesome solo in "Nothing Else Matters."

    • @joabbelmont8809
      @joabbelmont8809 6 лет назад +2

      There's no James' guitar solo in Orion, only 2 Kirk solos and 1 Cliff solo, which was supposed to be an extension of Kirk's second solo

      It's custom. I'm pretty sure he was interested in starting up his own guitar company, but it was too much work. I think the Lamb guitar was a prototype. Not quite sure, someone else may be able to correct me if I'm wrong.

      Saimeren well I can play the whole song, not as clean as he did but good enough and back when I learnt it I was playing for 1.5 year so it's not that hard I guess, go watch this guy's ashes of the wake cover... that's some harder shit
