Those huts looked so amazing!! I've never seen anything like them! They look like the perfect place to stay! And swimming in that cave-ish area was so beautiful!!! I loved watching this video!
I am an Australian and living in mexico 11 years now. Firstly..on mexico, you couldnt be more wrong. Yes the border has its issues...but americans are just as dangerous there as mexicans. Take yer pick. But Tulum..well..thats other end of mexico and one of the most peacefull places on earth. I just bought 5 hectares there on highway and the locals are all great. Mexico is like america in many ways.... your safety depends on where you go or freinds you keep. Being white, imagine me walking through the american Bronx... you dont get that sort of shit here in mexico. Then again...your safe as hell in Ayustralia these days..... not! The wildlife or weather will kill you very fast if you dont have information. Same in america or mexico or anywhere else for that matter. The fact is...USA is sooooo much more dangerous than mexico. And yes...my ten years here was fighting to uproot those cartels you speak off. I know danger better than most...including you!
Carolyn Norton - For your information I provided a link on how dangerous USA is as well. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2017/oct/02/america-mass-shootings-gun-violence This article is from the UK
Raya, thanks again for posting another gem! I really enjoyed the vlog of both Louis and yourself in Jamaica. I love seeing it from both perspectives. Your work has always been great but your vlogs are getting better and better each time and very well edited. Keep them coming Raya! I really look forward to them as many of us do. Thank you so much for sharing and take good care and be safe in your travels. Much love and respect to you and your friends from Castle Rock, Colorado. (As I mentioned to Louis, Ben, Dave and will say it to you. If ever in Colorado, our home vehicles, food and friendship are yours)
Also Raya, would love to see you guys tackle Iceland and Argentina soon. I just returned from Iceland recently and was truly blown away by the natural, unspoiled mejestic beauty as well as the friendly people. I will also recommend Argentina. Very special and unique place and the people are absolutely great. The two countries are so very different but both are amazing and you will fall in love with them both as well as the people.
Argentina is definitely my favorite country I have visited so far. The people are so nice there, as you said. If you go there, you have to see the Iguazú Falls, they are unbelievable!
I'm watching this right now because I can't wait for your new vlogs from Mexico, Mexico is just so beautiful and relaxing despite the violence there, I love that Mexican colorful culture.
Thanks so much Raya for responding. I can't wait to see your vlogs when you do go. Good luck to you and stay safe always in your travels. Have a wonderful holiday season and may all your dreams be realized in 2016! Much love and respect to all of you from Castle Rock, Colorado. Adrian
This was amazing, I didn't know there were little huts to spend the night so I'm definetely checking that out next time I visit there. And Cobá is actually the only place left where you can actually climb the pyramid because people started painting stupid things all over the walls on Tulum and every other archeological site so yeah, we should all appreciate this even more. Anyway, amazing blog :D
+ViajerasMX Wow I didn't know that! We're so incredibly lucky to have these fragments of history still there for us to see, I can't believe people would paint on them! This one should definitely be appreciated then!
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's simply amazing how such an ancient bunch of rocks (if you will) have lasted centuries. It's just incredible and beautiful and intriguing and magical. And also, as a fun fact, the "real" mayans have a birth mark on their backs, that's how you can tell apart the real mayan descendants all around the region and so :D
I also hitchiked with my girlfriend in Tulum to Coba :D It took like an hour and finaly a bus came and picked us up. It is crazy that they have just a few buses in this direction. We hitchiked because a taxi driver tried to trick us.
Raya, that was so magical and awesome! The sleeping area was so amazing, the ruins and swimming area, all just wonderful! I loved this video and look forward to the next one. My favorite was you in Bulgaria, will you do a longer one there sometime? Be safe and lots of love!
I wish I would've known you were there! There's this whole in the wall restaurant in that area that's near there. It's called El Camello. It's near Tulum. When we sit there, we see so many fishermen bringing in their catch for sale. The ceviche and tacos are delicious. My family stays in Mexico for vacation every year and we dream about going back every time.
Yay! I'm so happy you saw my comment! If you're feeling like an adventurous eater the next time you're there, try the octopus tacos! You really can't go wrong =) Seeing this vlog made me so happy! I was reliving so many great memories! I hiked up the same exact Mayan temple a few years ago, and swam in what looked like the same cenote. It looked like you were on Turtle beach! Great place!
nice place RAYA....you inspire me in many ways , you always amazing ,iam sure that place open your mind more to do and makes you adventure more and more.
we are going on a cruise this month , I was trying to decide what to do in cozumel, after watching this, and your other videos, I think this is what we are going to do, (mayan ruins in tulum). Was this your favorite place?
That was such an amazing video! first I just wanted to say how pretty you are, truly! second , I think Ive seen that pond before in Louis video a loooong time ago, I feel like he went cave diving there... I mean im pretty sure it was him and maybe nadine and some one else? my memory is not the best lol. anyways this video was amazing, and im curious to see Panama, my friend is from there and ive never seen it except in pictures! have a blast! xx
Oh my gosh so crazy! I was just there & now you're there. Running into you would have been epic ... maybe somewhere else in the world of vlogging adventures we will cross paths.
WOW, this video was good and the editing on the last minutes was magical! I am not sure if you used a Different camera but that made the video awesome.
This was lovely, makes me miss the yucatan so much!

Raya! You should definitely visit Colombia! If you love how beautiful was Xel - ha/Cancun, here, all the north coast of my country will blow your mind! Tropical jungle, amazing weather, beautiful sunsets and the food is delicious! Will be an honor if you vlog from my country! :)
This might be a weird question, but is it difficult to be a vegetarian/vegan while traveling? Especially when you stay with others and they cook for you? This trip truly does look magical!
hello I'm new to your channel. and a lot of your videos are really amazing and adventurous. but my question to you is how to you travel everywhere? does it cost a lot of money
Raya, how do you choose where to go next? Do you have your travels planned out, or do you sometimes randomly pick? Either seems like a great way to live! :)
+jesslivelife I try to have a rough plan of where I'm going but totally randomly pick sometimes! We actually chose Tulum about a week before we went, and I'm so glad we did!
+Lindsay K The ruins are just the main ruins in Coba - a town an hour west of Tulum and the cenote was the Gran Cenote. But there's a bunch of cenotes around so you have a lot to choose from!
+Nananana I'm sure there's a high risk of getting bitten by something and I did see a snake right by our bed in the morning.. but hey! It was an incredible adventure! ;)
Excellent video today Raya. I hope you have a fantastic day, night, & evening. Stay cool, stay awesome, stay swag, stay unstoppable, stay incredible, stay popular, stay great, keep having fun, keep being the best traveler RUclipsr, & stay strong Raya. Keep up the good work. Peace out.✌🏻️ Enjoy Life & Lived the Adventure Boom! *Fist Bump*👊🏻 Enjoy your Thursday:)
While in Latin America I highly recommend you listening to Silvio Rodriguez, he's one of the most famous artists in Latin America and his music is fantastic!
