This comment should have been headed with a spoiler alert. As loyal followers know, one can never tell from James reactions, until the very end, how he feels about a product. Seriously, the “Oh,man. This thing…….”, could mean anything!😏😉As I noted in my comment; when that piece of cracker, shot ten feet out the front of that thing, I lost it! 😂
I would rather go to the Dollar Tree and get a mop handle and some of the various heads that they sell to go along with it to help clean your floors. I don't think they have anything with brushes on the bottom but they have broom heads. And it's a $1 25 for each
If you have to go over a mess several times to get all of the crumbs, that would drive me batty!!! If it is tipped over the stuff that was just vacuumed up, and it falls out, is definitely a fail!!! The design is for this vacuum is a big fail!!! Thanks for the video, James, at least you tried to make it work!
I have a similar kind and I think the problem is they do not have suction, The belt broke on my real vacuum so I used the sweeper for the week and when I got the real vacuum working and went over the carpet it sucked up all the crumbs and dirt that was still sitting in the fibers, I filled the canaster in 1 go around the floor, I do have 2 cats who play out in the back yard so they bring in lots of fine dirt. So when you spilled the sweeper on your carpet im sure it pushed a lot into the carpet, I use mine for a 10 min fast tide up when someone calls and say's im getting coffee and on my way over lol I also have the robot vac but the problem with that thing is I have to clean up the cat toys and shoe laces and phone chargers and close the bathroom door because these is a 1 inch drop so when it goes in it can't get out and I have to close the basement door and bedroom doors, So while it works good I find my self using the broom more than any thing.
I used to watch your videos a lot, this is the first to pop up in my RUclips feed in MONTHS! I checked, and you do upload often, and I’m subscribed and have all notifications turned on. How disappointing that the “algorithm” is hiding stuff from me that I actually want to watch…
My mom uses the swivel sweeper mainly on hard floor and loves it so much she bought me one. It’s basically the same idea but rectangular. I didn’t like it so much and just switched to a regular stick vacuum.
Your expecting it to be perfect keeping it flat against the floor, but even regular vacuum and brooms have to be lifted at times. Even a regular vacuum might scatter stuff on a bare floor. Why didn't you lift it and then place it down on top of some of the stuff that was left.? I don't think it perfect, but then again, it is ok for the price.
my vintage, red royal dirtdevil handy vac vacuum that I picked up for 4 bucks at goodwill has this pos beat at every aspect and then some. So sad it totally kicks it's ass. I can still get belts for mine and everything and even bags if I dont want to use the cloth bag it comes with. Great for small messes, pet hair, car, not the best at hard surfices but even then it has the zippie beat hard with almost no kickback on hard wood and stairs.
Review summary: The Zippi sweeper makes a mess and scratches hardwood floors. It will dump out what you picked up in you move it upside down. Overall score: 1 out of 10.
4:00 those are literally the same warnings on every single other battery you have ever used in your entire life. 100% identical. No other battery that has ever been created, sold or purchased does not have those same warnings.
Actually, different battery types have somewhat different warnings. Nowadays most batteries are lithium so the warnings are the same. Still your point about all battery driven devices having a similar set of warnings still stands.
I am so hesitant buying things that are powered by battery. It's more about convenience then actually doing a better job cleaning. I'd rather hold a cord up and get better cleaning then poor cleaning 😮
The shark cordless sweepers are really good for the money, and pick up way more as I have 2 (work and home) plus the replacement batteries online are cheap as dirt being the same type used in older cordless house phones, and it's 1,000Mah which means they are also easier to recycle as well.
I agree Shark makes some of the better cordless sweepers as I have two(work and home) of the smaller ones(they also make a large 12in wide version), and I can't speak for thick carpet, but they do great on low to medium pile rugs as long as they don't have really deep thick ridge like a front door rug. Plus they have never ran out of power doing my whole single story house, or building at work with the 1,000 Mah battery that's cheap as chips to replace when they finally die, as least thick cat hair has not been a problem for the unit I have at home.
Hi, I really appreciate you being willing to try these annoying products, so I can save my money! There's nothing Zippy about that thing 😆 other than how fast it made a mess! One last comment I promise... You seem to have a great attitude regardless and I'm guessing a lovely character to match. Thank you 😊
It reminds me of the old swivel sweeper(red model) from the early/mid 2000’s and how bad it was at cleaning. First run it did ok but after it wouldn’t hold a charge and collected more dust than picked up.
I had the same experience with the Swivel Sweeper. I liked it for quick, small messes, but after awhile, it wouldn't hold a charge. I bought a replacement battery, and even that didn't help.
Yeah, the batteries for that thing were the worst. At least with the later generations you could remove the brushes to clean them, but those original ones sucked to try and get hair off of. I would spend more time trying to cut off the hair with the attached seam ripper than I did cleaning with it.
For a real test of this, you should throw down a handful of glitter!🤣😈 It won't show us anything different, but the cursing when the glitter keeps showing up in future videos would be hilarious!
it shooting the mess everywhere is bad design but im pretty sure that front brush is suppose to knock the things away from the wall and corner so it can actually get to it.
Yep i had an electric carpet sweeper, with rotating brushes. It worked well cos it had a vacuum and decent motor with a cord to the wall. Anything battery is not going to have grunt, and sooner or later the batts die. Recycled if ya lucky. I dont know bout the U.S. but our recycle dumps are all having mysterious fires. India too.
In my opinion, this is a solution looking for the problem. I'd rather take out a stick vacuum for all of these messes and the dirt capacity would be bigger as well.
You should do some air purifier reviews. With more and more wildfires and weather changes etc. It would be cool to see some in depth reviews etc on purifiers. They have a few channels that review them. But not very well
🤣👎This Zippy Zero Sweeper, is a complete FAIL. Please Return, and get your money back, before your refund expires! My cheap 99 Cent Store broom works faster. 😂😆🤣 People are getting annoyed watching those.. 🤣 I can't stop LAUGHING.. crumbs getting stuck in the corners.. You are awesome, I get a kick watching you and your reactions!😂👍🏻
Not going to get one now after this vey clear demo. Thank you for doing the video, very informative. I was about to buy one, here in Australia they charge $130 + $12 P&H No thanks!
I had a corded stick vac from Walmart that cost under $30. It lasted for years. It worked great on bare floors, rugs and carpet. I never had to worry about it losing power. I never had to replace an expensive battery or worry about it overheating. I'm not a fan of cordless products.
In 2012 I moved out of my parents house and my mom bought me a $10 hand vacuum. It is one of those old tan ones with the wall mount/charger from the 90s. I still have it and use it to this day, but it only lasts about 15 minutes. Despite all of that... it is still 20x better than this vacuum.
I got tired of vacuums quit working so I bought an off brand wet dry ShopVac type (5gal) at Walmart about 6 years ago. Got an attachment for rug/carpet on Amazon, (it did come with some attachments). That thing vacuums so well, never fails, always great suction. The bags for it a bit pricey, tho $17 for 3 but they hold a lot. Light enough to carry around too!
This product is going to be in the worst of 2023 episode most likely. It looks terrible. It should have had a way to contain the items in it, not had the front spinning brush so it wouldn't kick the stuff around, and it should have had at least some sort of wheels. Those hard plastic nubs are going to get chopped and rough at some point and scratch your floors no matter how hard you baby the machine.
The other thing with these gadgets is when the battery stops holding charge (and they all do) is getting replacements, if at all, or at such a stupidly high price as to be utterly ridiculous. In the end that’s a lot of plastics and other materials that end up in the waste stream. And to the oh just recycle it reply… my answer is, good ahead and try that, honestly! Living in Australia, the recycling companies just laugh at that.
I bought the “Swivel Sweeper Touchless” 10 or so years ago. Same thing only it’s rectangular, works a little better than this one. I like it around the cat box.😎👍
I have one of those cheap dollar store sweepers that isn't battery powered that I use at my shop and it is 100 times better than that junk.. Terrible product....

That thing was aggravating me and I wasn't even using it 😂

Totally frustrating! Horrible!
I'm glad you tested it, but it's definitely not worth $60. I wouldn't even pay $20 for it.
I'd just use a broom and dustpan looking at that mess it was making.
i would not want that even for free :D
I would rather go to the Dollar Tree and get a mop handle and some of the various heads that they sell to go along with it to help clean your floors. I don't think they have anything with brushes on the bottom but they have broom heads. And it's a $1 25 for each

I love all your pet hair gadget reviews!! Bailey is such a great product review helper ❤
My fav is his pet hair on his clothes lol.
We love Bailey!!! ❤
She such a good girl.🐶
This isn't a pet hair removal tool
She contributed without even knowing it. 😆

You have to clean after you clean 😂
I'll go to Dollar Tree and get a 1.25 dustpan and brush lol, thanks for the review.
Great review as always.
Disappointed that I didn't get the "hiyah" when he threw the coffee grounds on the floor.
I’ve purchased this as I only have hard floor and laminate but with a downstairs bedroom I get lots of dust, that’s what I need it for.
Me: GD that's loud af
FR: Not too loud, that's good!
Lol...must be louder on camera.
No, I think I'll go with that great invention called "broom and dust pan"
They should change the name to The Crappy Sweeper!
This is like a triangle version of the swivel sweeper
The brush is designed to go along the wall to kick the dirt away from it so it can vacuum it. That's the way robot vacuum do it at least
You completely reminded me of Melanie Griffith from the movie Working Girl.... 💪 ✔️
It tossing cracker crumbs was so hilarious 😂
Your expecting it to be perfect keeping it flat against the floor,
but even regular vacuum and brooms have to be lifted at times.
Even a regular vacuum might scatter stuff on a bare floor.
Why didn't you lift it and then place it down on top
of some of the stuff that was left.?
I don't think it perfect, but then again, it is ok for the price.
Thank you for your videos.
You did your best to not call it a piece of junk. But face it, that's what it is.
The news when you did the sprinkle test I noticed the floor was scratched. Did the sweeper do that?
Yes, but does it take Glock magazines? 😉
my vintage, red royal dirtdevil handy vac vacuum that I picked up for 4 bucks at goodwill has this pos beat at every aspect and then some. So sad it totally kicks it's ass. I can still get belts for mine and everything and even bags if I dont want to use the cloth bag it comes with.

nothing beats a good broom 😂
I had to watch the start again, to see, what was the purpose of it. It didn't seem like it replace anything, we already have, that work..
When a 5 dollar broom and dust pan works better and faster than your 60+ dollar machine. lmao
Never thought I'd say a vacuum doesn't suck. But it didn't :(
Where can i fine my new 1 dollar(worth) zippi sweeper? The dollar store?
My shark handheld is wonderful for small messes, and it has actual suction!
So basically, it’s a piece of crap. Thanks for taking one for the team 👍
Bailey is awsome broom not so much 60$ say what lol i love you need a vac to clean after this vac
Sadly, after my coffee ground test, I had to pull out a regular broom to pick up all the remnants spewed all over the floor by this sweeper.

2:25 I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂❤ ✌️❤& 5:07😂😂😂😂😂❤ don't buy the zippi 😂😂😂
Imagine prototyping that design and going "yeah, that'll do." 😂
I'm sure "that'll do" is all they were aiming for so, Great Success!!
Yes! By the time he got to the sprinkles in the corner I was arrrrrrrrgh😂.
It amazes me how the design processes work in some of these companies 🙄
"What about this whole on the bottom? Things seem to fall off of it"
"We'll call it a feature! It's so the dirt can 'breath' inside"
Usually it's not a "that'll do" but a "the investors don't care if it's not ready, you'll release it NOW"
if this doesn't make it to the "honorable mentions" (if not on the actual list) for the worst of 2023, I would be surprised.
It's certainly in the pool of contenders thus-far!
I agree. This item looks terrible! It's a great concept that ended up being a terrible one.
Looks like the tried and true broom and dust pan win again. 😊
Or a vacuum cleaner, ain't no need to fiddle with this triangle on a rod.
Thanks for doing these videos that sweeper is a piece of junk in my opinion,
Another great review....they save me $$ to squash the hypes on tv & see how a product REALLY works. TY Bailey for your contribution.
$60 for this. Save a extra money and get a cordless vacuum on sale for ~100 to ~150$.
don’t tell me or anyone else how to spend their money. do you understand me?!
Or a broom. Lol. Would work better then this junk of a “sweeper”. 😂
@@Nonchillantea broom won't do much on carpet. A black and Decker cordless vacuum is under $100.
@@Valspartame_MaelstromWell - aren’t you being a bit snippy today! Your comment wasn’t really called for!!!

Unfortunately the execution was horrendous.
This is a hard pass! I still love my Shark Vac-Mop. Doesn't do carpet, but it's great on hard floors.

Total scam is my conclusion. And I admire how you willingly throw stuff on your floor for testing, BTW.
Can't beat an old fashioned style vacuum.

it shooting the mess everywhere is bad design but im pretty sure that front brush is suppose to knock the things away from the wall and corner so it can actually get to it.
but its kinda funny that it does it even when its not at the wall making it harder to clean.
My 30 year old Kirby would run laps around this. So spend a 100.00 and get a older Kirby

You must test the cooling belt Sparkle Tornado. Semes awesome.
Well ever heard of vacuum cleaners ? 😅😅 this peace of crap cost $60.00 ?
Thanks for the savings. This product is GARBAGE !
Thank you for punishing yourself with this device so that others may not do so.
This kind of junk should be illegal to produce and sell. It just ends up as more plastic waste, disgraceful
Seems like an old fashioned broom would be more efficient and cheaper
Thank you so much for all of your reviews. I use your videos all of the time to shop for things that will help me around the house
My grandma had one of these in the 90's but it was manual. It had the roller things and youd push it around like a carpet swiffer.

2023, what kind of battery gets damaged if you fully deplete it? 🤣🤣. If this thing isn't made in China I'll be floored.

Another Chinese PLA arpproved product. Very Good Item, You Buy now!
😂 When the vacuumed debris easily falls out of the collection basket, what a hunk of garbage.
Yesterday I watched a video from Techmoan about a pocket sized record player. It's kind of the same picture.

I bought the “Swivel Sweeper Touchless” 10 or so years ago. Same thing only it’s rectangular, works a little better than this one. I like it around the cat box.😎👍
Thanks for the tip. That is my exact use case. I hate stepping on cat litter.
Thanks for taking one for the team so to speak. You just saved me from pointlessly spending money on a sub-standard product.
This thing is hot garbage.. do people not have a vacuum and a broom anymore? waste of money and waste of landfill space..
Thanks for showing us what not to buy.

Seem if your going to move one of those around, why not just use a broom haha. If you have a bad back just sweep into a pile and vacum pile
Looks like the old school Fuller Brush Sweeper works better. Why am I not surprised.
The look of it looks like a smart design but as soon as they built a prototype they should have cancelled any further work on it. I can't believe that actually got released.
Thank You Kindly for the vid and your channel ..... that thing is about as useful as a chocolate teapot

Have you tried Socket Fan? Something to review maybe. Sorry if you already did that one.
