I’m loving the remake but I wish it had the truck sequence where you’re shooting from the back, the burning wagon you can push down the hill outside the church, the part where you shoot the restraints off Ashley and protect her from above, and the U3 boss fight
Awesome video! Got to do a Part 2. Got to have U3/IT, the laser room, the lava room with the fire breathing dragon statues, and all the other missing rooms in the castle.
You can actually spot the lift in the remake. It looks like it’s all broken down, but you can see the little lift carriers just dangling from the wires online it’s next to the house that gets overrun with enemies.
Remake is more realistic I don’t see why so many people have a problem with it. Also those who are trying to argue that OG was a horror game it was not it was an action game with horror elements, same with remake but they made it more scary.
Nice Video, liked to see the comparisions. They did a good job with some parts of the game, but some others where better in the original in my opinion. Oh and funfact: if i saw it correctly in my RE4 Remake run, you can see the arena, in which you fight the 2nd el gigante, if you are on the way to the chainsaw sisters. its on the right down the clif. I looked on the map and was running around, because i thought i missed a way down there, because i wanted to fight him first, like i did in the original.
We did see the giant Salazar statue, but they had it breathe fire, essentially combining it with those fire breathing stone dragons from the original, which were missing in the original. Also, in the original, just before reaching the castle we had to shoot a truck to stop it. Not in the remake, but we do pass a stationary truck just before the castle. I guess as an easter egg. Also, we never got the worm thing monster boss fight in the cave in the remake.
Love both games! Ada, Wesker & Saddler's voices weren't as good in the remake. If I hadn't played the original as much as I did I would have nothing to complain about.
I love both orig re 4 and remake, and really happy that they this not just upgrade grapichs and launch by saying re 4 remake. They really did an amazing jobb to bring re 4 alive again with a new twist and new stuff to old re fans like me and many others. Do u really want to pay 70 euros for and graphic upgrade only, as for me i dont.

The lift section was added to seperate wats in remake
You missed the most annoying part of the original, it’s called the QTE.
