Hello. Mine works with 16340 from Baton 3 and 4 (550 and 660 mAh). It also works with 18350 KeepPower 1200mAh, protected. Reversed, Minus at the tail. The 16340 can be charged inside, the KeepPower Must be charged in a separate charger, or else!
I would say it could compete with the Nitecore MT1C Pro but in terms of light modes it offers, it's way more versatile! The CR123 sleeve is a good surprise coming from a manufacturer known for their proprietary batteries! Thanks for the review!
Agreed, between the two they're both awesome tiny throwers. Both well made with the difference of keeping things simple or having a few more features 🤙 glad you enjoyed the content
@MoorlanderEDC in terms of brightness, which of the 2 lights show more brightness and throw? I know numbers wise it would seem that Olight wins however from your thoughts what would you say. I ask because I just find myself a bit underwhelmed from the candela even a few hundred meters with the olight. Maybe it's just me....
Great light, just sent to brother and he put battery in as indicated by battery symbol. Battery symbol shows battery level. Maybe it should be turned around to also indicate battery orientation.
I had to check 🤣 sadly, they won't fit. The battery in the Pro and Pro Max does seat slightly into the head unit whereas the Turbo battery doesn't. The battery of the Turbo has the negative facing the head, whereas the positive faces the head on the Pro and Max so they wouldn't work either. You heard it here first. Internet exclusive 🤙
High grade aerospace aluminum is a stretch, it's the most ubiquitous grade for machined components. 6061 is found everywhere. Anything used in the aerospace industry isn't necessarily rarer or more expensive, it just comes with different certifications.
😀 oh I totally agree... but it just sounds better 😀. It's like when you hear "it's military grade xxx" which usually isn't that's stronger over civilian standards... but it sounds cool. Most of these lights are all 6061. Every now and again you'll find 7075, and I think Olight have just created their own proprietary alloy which is stronger and lighter. The new Olight Arkfled Ultra is made from it
You can use the 16340 battery from Baton 3 or 4 in Baton Turbo, with the provided sleeve. Can be charged inside the Baton Turbo with no problems. I bought an 18350 KeepPower, 1200mAh as a spare. It was very expansive and must be charged in a separate charger, of course!
@bamboelaa because Olight strongly suggest it by providing a sleeve for it. no problems with the KeepPower here. Anyway, I moved to another thrower from another league, Acebeam W35.
@@MoorlanderEDC I've been reading reviews on Olight and seen some complaints that the lens scratch easily. I have a few Fenix lights and they have glass lenses. Maybe this model is different.
That's quite a light in a modestly sized design. Impressive. The folks at Olight really can build em! 👍 Thanks for the review. I became a fan of the Baton 3 Pro Max that was given to me by a very gracious gentleman some time ago. 😉 And living in the woods of E. Texas, far from any light sources, it gets pitch black. So the Pro Max is worth it's weight in gold! It stays attached to my bed frame via the magnetic base and when that "bump in the night" is heard I grab it and a 45 Auto. And outdoors, hunting wild hogs and coyotes, this light is fantastic. 😁
Finally, after 4-5 years Olight has made a light that has my attention again !!! (EDIT= STILL USING PROPRIETARY BATTERIES !! So NO GO for me !!!) Excellent size, candela and LONG runtime moonlight mode !!
@@brianrichards3101 what are some other pocket throwers you've used? Looking for a small thrower for overnight backpacking so weight and size are paramount.
@slush714 lumintop micro GT and wurkkos ts12 are the two that I am thinking of. Both have larger heads, but both are 14500s... so very slender body tubes.
So sorry Mr. Waffler but there's more spelling mistakes ( battery not bettery ). We assume Olight would appreciate it if you correctly spell their brand. We do recommend either the Oxford or Webster dictionary. The Moorlander dictionary may be slightly out of date. No offense intended. Punching testicles is not recommended but when editing, you could take your time ( that's what she said). Cowabunga.!
@@unfi6798 it's all good buddy. I often have to edit my content on my lunch and I must have rushed a bit today. I do struggling with spelling due to my dyslexia. Im glad you put the battery in backwards so i could see the battery. Lol. Good vid.

This is actually classed a thrower. It's advertised as olights first pocket thrower
Ok I had to subscribe with the out takes at the end, and the cool way you displayed the light on the little branch. And also a great review as well.
Awesome, thank you! Glad you enjoyed the content. I randomly found that little branch in my favourite filming spot and it definitely get used a lot 😆

What brand is the Jacket/coat you are wearing. Looks very sharp.
Ots a shirt from Dixxons Flannel. They make amazing shirts
Blooming eck thats a good rage for a little torch! Good price to
Ha ha ha... I realised half way through I needed to stop saying "it's not a thrower" 😂
@@MoorlanderEDC dont worry about it,i was watching and thinking jeez i bet thats expensive lol
🙂 your congeniality is contagious.
Thank you my friend. I hope you're having a great week 🤙
Now I just need to decide if I should get the MT1C or Olight Baton Turbo.
I wonder if the head would fit on the Baton pro or Max as that would be something ;).

$50 right now

cann you use the tube of the baton 3 pro to make a baton turbo with an 18650?
No, unfortunately the head unit has a different depth so it won't fit. That would be really cool if it could
Mini Warrior Turbo should be next
lol…I hope 😂

i saw some bad reviews on that keeppower i went with a vapcell

Baton turbo or weltool t1 tac?
Does it have a glass or plastic lens?
It's a toughened glass lens with an antireflective coating. Olight always make sure to use higher quality glass lens. I hope that helps my friend
@@MoorlanderEDC I've been reading reviews on Olight and seen some complaints that the lens scratch easily. I have a few Fenix lights and they have glass lenses. Maybe this model is different.
There IS is a RUclips video that shows this light TAKING 5 DIFFERENT batteries !!!! But there is a trick as some 18350 need to go in backwards!!!!

@spektr540hemi same here! This is slightly smaller with similar throw to some of my other tiny pocket throwers. Debating.. debating.. 😁
