Girl I relate with you sooo much.. I dress up and remove immediately I see myself in the mirror because am such a natural and I do not like attention but sometimes I admire outfits that I buy and never wear in the end. This right here feels like it's for me 😮
I've been trying to live like this too! What helps me sustain this mindset sometimes is surrounding yourself with amazing supportive friends and while they're not around you can think "would my best friends judge me for wearing this? Would they think it's too much, or think badly of me for dressing this way?" and 100% of the time the answer is no, they would just want you to be happy!

I also felt this way, like I don't have the features or body type to look as good in certain things or that it's pointless to put effort and dress up since I'm not going to look as good as others do no matter how hard I try. I'm very much unbothered by it now and if someone dislikes my appearance that's just part of my powerful influence lol

I wore a super fairy spring themed outfit and I was so nervous. I literally kept asking my fiance if it was "too much". He said anyone who thinks you're too much does nor deserve to be around you. I proudly wore my outfit and got lots of compliments! 💕

Here's how to get over the fear of dressing up: dress up every single day. I used to be scared of dressing up to the point I'd be on the verge of throwing up on the rare times i did it. So i just started doing it everyday.
I used to relate to this when I was younger. Ended up dressing like a boy 🙃. Not like that anymore. I do dress very girly now but only for me, my family, and my husband. When I leave the house, I wear a dark niqab and jilbab, like a burqa except you can still see my eyes and hands.

I've seen some of your vids and while we have different lives I understand what you're going through and what you might be feeling inside.
I used to be Christian, then left while still believing in God and His prophets, and revelations except that they have been corrupted by humans. I didn't think that there was another revelation after Jesus and was very disappointed that I wanted to follow God but had nothing authentic to follow in the worship in the way God wanted to be worshiped.
A couple years later, after my life and heart was getting worse, I cried to God, prostrating on the ground asking Him to fix me and that I didn't know what to do. Eventually He led me to Islam.
I will NEVER go back. People who knew me before Islam think my life is harder now but in fact I couldn't be happier and my life would be so much harder without this beautiful religion. Allah guides who He chooses and I hope that He guides you to the everlasting happiness.

I went through a strange period of my life when I decided that make up is fake etc etc and stopped dressing up and doing making , safe to say it didn’t do me any good and I only started feeling shit ability myself , now I always say if I do my make up and put myself together it has to be a good day or at least I will feel good.
Do it for you, not for anyone else. But, on the flip side, someone who's interested in you should be for the discovery of your mind and your personality rather than your outfit.
